The staff is hard working from morning till night! Everyone was friendly and courteous. They have a plethora of items to choose from depending on your appetite and diet. I was completely shocked by the prices being as affordable as what they are. I went there for breakfast and dinner during my stay. For breakfast I got three piece of French toast, scrambled eggs with cheese, and two strips of bacon with orange juice for about $12. For dinner I called in at 7:45PM because I thought they closed at 9PM which they still accommodated my order of a BLT with fries for less than $10. Both meals were DELICIOUS and it’s like “if grandma cooked it”. There were some vegetarian items such as salads and black bean burgers. They even have a “not a big appetite” section for those who know they need to eat but can’t tackle a bigger meal. The ONLY thing is I wish they had more t-shirts to remember this iconic diner.
Remember, TIP your service decently. They provide us with an amazing well quality meal without shooting up the prices. I have not met a “tourist trap” in this amazing town. So because of that, make sure you show your appreciation where it matters the most. The tip jar for the cooks is by the register, don’t...

Read moreMy waitress coughed quite frequently and did not always cover her mouth, even when in the kitchen area. She was also distracted by a phone call and a money count and treated me like I was interrupting her chores. The other waitress seemed friendly, attentive, and cough free. Bad luck on my part. I was now wary and noticed neither of the two hairy and bearded cooks wore hairnets or even a hat. Not reassuring when the service is suspect. I did not finish my food, paid $12 something for what the menu listed at $8.95, and the waitress excused her behavior stating she did not have Covid (like that is the only germ spread by coughing?) I was still hungry, unhappy, and declined to tip. This was my 2nd time here. The first time they were very busy, and did not even offer coffee while I sat patiently at a cleared table that had scrambled eggs on the floor under my chair. I wrote it off to being busy and left without being served that day. Two large strikes. I'm bypassing this establishment...
