My daughter and I were there yesterday and the service was some of the worst we've ever had. We saw the sign on the door saying if you can't be nice eat elsewhere and we both said that's awesome that they won't put up with rude people. Then we spent the longest lunch of our lives there. The Waitress was was rude, slow, and acted like we were bothering her for eating there. Never refilled drinks. Food took a long time and mine came out wrong twice. Not just wrong per order but extremely undercooked. My daughter's food was C- quality. Even the pickle on the plate was sad, thin, and limp.

Since we were there so long we had time to notice the terrible decor and cheap seating. At least the bathroom was clean. The hostess was also unfriendly and kept just wondering around doing nothing. It was very distracting. I mean she would literally walk right up to your table and just stand there. Weird in any scenario but we particularly don't want a stranger stand 2 feet beside us for no dang reason in a pandemic. We asked her what she needed and she just skim her head and left but paced back a couple more times. We ended up getting a small discount on the meal but I had to ask for it. I ended up leaving hungry it was that bad. Even the drinks were room temp. They didn't even put ice in them nor refill them. I plan to visit the area a lot but won't be back to this place for sure! No wonder they need the sign!...

My husband and I visited for the first time on a Sunday. The sign outside stated that they had certain foods so we went in around 1:30-ish. The young hostess took us to our seats. I thanked her and she replied with “yup”. Our waitress came and got our drink orders and I inquired about the soup that was promoted outside (and was also on the board when you walked in). I was informed that on Sundays they only serve brunch and that “they must not have taken down the sign after last night”. We decided to stay and still order food. A few other tables must have been surprised about the menu as well, as they did not decide to stay. One of the waitresses mentioned the one table had left and the young hostess that sat us responded with “GOOD”! The restaurant does close at 2 and from the time of being sat to finishing our food it was right around 2. Having waitressed numerous times in the past, I completely understand the frustration of people coming in close to closing time. However, be mindful that others can hear you. We were made to feel like a huge inconvenience and will not be returning here on our next visit. I did give 2 stars because the food was good, food was fast, and our actual...

Cane here for breakfast. The place was busy but actually pretty quiet as well. Very pleasant environment and the food is top notch. They bake their own fresh bread every and use it to make their toast😋😋..best biscuit I have had since my mother passed and she was from the Appalachian mountains where people actually get judged on the quality of their biscuits..lol. Now to the best part. My waitress JoJo was an absolute ROCK STAR. Had a genuine ( not MANUFACTURED ) smile the entire time. She was there when I needed her every time and not one time that I did not. I messed up my own order and didn't realize i had until it arrived sans one item I wanted. She said with a smile.. no problem. I can get that for you right now..and she did..right then. This young lady is an asset to your business and to your town. Keep doing everything you all are doing over there..it's perfect. Even the price was pretty good in this economy. I paid $18 for toast, 2 eggs, 2 large sausage patties, hash browns, and sausage gravy and biscuits. The portions lean towards the...

We were double charged on our credit card for our lunch. We are still trying to get the charges reversed. As to the food, my husband and I ordered for takeout the Walleye Sandwich and Perch Tacos. I do not recommend the walleye sandwich because it still had the skin on it. (I have cleaned many walleye and always skinned them). If skin is going to be left on that should be in the description because it is very gross to look at. But, even worse they breaded over the skin and deep fried it, making it even harder to pick off, also the fillet was too small for the bun. After picking off the skin, I ended up discarding the bun and using the lettuce for a wrap. The perch tacos my husband got were much better, but the fillets were still small. We were not given the pickle for either of our sandwiches.

Visited from out of town on a Sunday. Waited to order after sitting was 15 minutes without drinks, then 35 wait for food. Had 2 waitresses for a weekend brunch morning, seemed understaffed. Was interested in getting Avocado toast, but not for $12.99!?!? Just got a breakfast sandwich, smaller than palm of my hand. Only favoring was the ketchup I added. Still seemed hungry after I left, but wasn't going to get anything here for the prices. Area may be cute for locals, but won't recommend for tourists. Also the amount of sea side decor was overwhelming and crowded. I could get more flavorful breakfast food at Tim Hortons

Decent breakfast. No surprises here as the breakfast offerings are what you would expect. I had the First Mate, which is eggs, sausage, and toast. The toast was probably the best thing, a thick slice of homemade wheat bread slathered with butter. My wife tried the French toast. It came with a bowl of strawberry compote, and it was a great topping for her meal. Our server was no nonsense and took care of us efficiently. On a Wednesday morning, there was no wait for a seat.
