My daughter and I were there yesterday and the service was some of the worst we've ever had. We saw the sign on the door saying if you can't be nice eat elsewhere and we both said that's awesome that they won't put up with rude people. Then we spent the longest lunch of our lives there. The Waitress was was rude, slow, and acted like we were bothering her for eating there. Never refilled drinks. Food took a long time and mine came out wrong twice. Not just wrong per order but extremely undercooked. My daughter's food was C- quality. Even the pickle on the plate was sad, thin, and limp.
Since we were there so long we had time to notice the terrible decor and cheap seating. At least the bathroom was clean. The hostess was also unfriendly and kept just wondering around doing nothing. It was very distracting. I mean she would literally walk right up to your table and just stand there. Weird in any scenario but we particularly don't want a stranger stand 2 feet beside us for no dang reason in a pandemic. We asked her what she needed and she just skim her head and left but paced back a couple more times. We ended up getting a small discount on the meal but I had to ask for it. I ended up leaving hungry it was that bad. Even the drinks were room temp. They didn't even put ice in them nor refill them. I plan to visit the area a lot but won't be back to this place for sure! No wonder they need the sign!...
Read moreMy husband and I visited for the first time on a Sunday. The sign outside stated that they had certain foods so we went in around 1:30-ish. The young hostess took us to our seats. I thanked her and she replied with “yup”. Our waitress came and got our drink orders and I inquired about the soup that was promoted outside (and was also on the board when you walked in). I was informed that on Sundays they only serve brunch and that “they must not have taken down the sign after last night”. We decided to stay and still order food. A few other tables must have been surprised about the menu as well, as they did not decide to stay. One of the waitresses mentioned the one table had left and the young hostess that sat us responded with “GOOD”! The restaurant does close at 2 and from the time of being sat to finishing our food it was right around 2. Having waitressed numerous times in the past, I completely understand the frustration of people coming in close to closing time. However, be mindful that others can hear you. We were made to feel like a huge inconvenience and will not be returning here on our next visit. I did give 2 stars because the food was good, food was fast, and our actual...
Read moreCane here for breakfast. The place was busy but actually pretty quiet as well. Very pleasant environment and the food is top notch. They bake their own fresh bread every and use it to make their toast😋😋..best biscuit I have had since my mother passed and she was from the Appalachian mountains where people actually get judged on the quality of their biscuits..lol. Now to the best part. My waitress JoJo was an absolute ROCK STAR. Had a genuine ( not MANUFACTURED ) smile the entire time. She was there when I needed her every time and not one time that I did not. I messed up my own order and didn't realize i had until it arrived sans one item I wanted. She said with a smile.. no problem. I can get that for you right now..and she did..right then. This young lady is an asset to your business and to your town. Keep doing everything you all are doing over there..it's perfect. Even the price was pretty good in this economy. I paid $18 for toast, 2 eggs, 2 large sausage patties, hash browns, and sausage gravy and biscuits. The portions lean towards the...
