Firehouse Subs Highway 92 — Restaurant in Dandridge

Twenty-seven minutes.

Stopped in today, a Monday, and placed a to-go order at 3:45pm per the receipt. It wasn't very busy in there, as to be expected at 3:45pm on a Monday. After waiting twenty minutes, I looked behind the sandwich making counter and witnessed 3-4 employees just standing around. I asked one if our sandwiches were coming up soon. Was told ours were next. Finally, at 4:12pm, we were given two sandwiches and went home.

Notice I didn't say we received OUR two sandwiches. Neither one was on wheat bread (again, as the receipt reflects), and my sandwich was definitely NOT the NY Steamer with extra mayo I ordered. Was some sort of chicken onion thing (see attached picture). This was utterly ridiculous. Nearly half an hour to get two medium sandwiches, and in the end, they still weren't even correct. I have a feeling this location won't be open very long.

Update: I noticed the business is responding to the positive reviews while ignoring those of us who have had very similar bad experiences. I even took the survey on the receipt and asked to be contacted about my experience, and...

The lobby was dirty and we had to wait 30 min for are food. Guest before me waited even longer he had to get his money back because he was on a lunch break his other buddies got to eat there lunch poor guy. Then I finally got my order and it was not even made right ask for wheat bread and got white then didn't even get my banana peppers on my sandwich asked for olives and the put three little ones on my sandwich. For the price you pay for a firehouse sub I could have gone to subway and they would have given me the extra stuff I wanted on my sandwich I have never had a problem with this location but now they need more staff and help they are so slow at making sandwiches it is not rocket science it's making a sandwich. My grandma could go faster than them. And they have poor manners the one Spanish girl I asked for banana peppers for my sandwich and she just looked at me and ask me what I wanted. I work at a shop in Dandridge and had not up until recently had the opportunity to visit this location. Today I decided to go thru the drive thru for lunch. (big mistake) I went thru and ordered 2 sandwich combos, 2 orders of mac and cheese as well as a kids meal. 30 minutes later I paid $45 and received what was supposed to be my order. I was pressed for time because I was on my lunch Break and had to get back. Our combos did not have the chips, My husbands sandwich was wrong and the kids combo was the Sandwich only which is not what is advertised. So my husband went back up to request the missing items and was told that since we ordered mac and cheese (that we were charged full price for) we did not get the chips and no effort was made to correct the short coming on the child meal either.
