WORST POSSIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Make sure you greet them to actually begin your interaction or you'll just stand there all day. When I walked in a customer was already being helped at the donut case. I waited for her to finish ordering and then I stepped over and in front of the case once she finished and moved over to pay at the register. She paid, left, and employees moved about appearing to be taking care of drive thru orders. I say that because I was the only customer inside. Many made eye contact with me, but nobody said hi or asked if I was ready. Eventually two of the employees stepped in front of the registers and simply stood there (about two steps away). Again, eye contact is made and then they look away. I finally ask if I have to come over there to place an order and the man simply says "yeah". At this point the other employee walks away. So I step over to him and say "hi can I order some donuts". He asks what I want and I step back to the donut display to ask a question about the donuts. He stays at the register and tells me I can tell him what I want at the register. Apparently he can't move nor hear me from two steps away. So I ask if the munchkins in the display were all they had and he says yeah. I say ok, I want to buy the remaining chocolate and cinnamon munchkins. He proceeds to stay at the register and ask what size box I want. I say once again I want to buy the rest and I don't know how many are in the case. Seriously, the piles of cinnamon and chocolate munchkin donuts weren't very big. Maybe around 30 to 40 each. But it was very clear at this point he wasn't really listening and not interested in working. I originally wanted a signature latte for myself and some chocolate munchkins for my daughter. While waiting I decided to also get 6 donuts and cinnamon munchkins. I left with only 10 chocolate munchkins because I refused to let my daughter down. I promised her some chocolate munchkins and I refused to let this negative experience affect me enough that would cause me to let her down. But there was no possible way I was going to interact with this person any longer than I had too.
I realize that the real issue is that I had an expectation of a minimal level of professional customer service. But when that is not present, it's not the individual employee's fault. This is an allowed behavior, a reflection of management vs leadership. There is probably a good manager at this establishment, but this employee was hired, trained and placed in a customer service position. Many other employees were present as well during this interaction. Nobody intervened. This is most likely a case of business being driven by demand for the product and tolerance of "good enough".
I'll be fine never going back to this place. I only share my experience so anyone interested enough to read this will know what might happen to...
Read moreThe little teenagers who work here after like 3pm are something else 20 minute wait in a drive thru line for a pre made order to get an attitude from little girl who apparently “makes more money than me” too funny anyway then I get a cold coffee handed to me and get even more attitude when I ask why it’s cold if it wasn’t sitting there ? Then they proceed to not have ANY hot coffee brewed mind you it’s 3 pm they close at 8 why isn’t there any coffe brewed it isn’t busy? Then one of the girls opened my lid and put her face up to it before giving it to me so I am going to assume she spit in it 🤣 these girls need to be handled properly and shouldn’t be left alone to practically run a Dunkin especially when they say “I’m just in high school I don’t care” just sad then as we proceed to leave we have a worker hanging out the door flipping us off wow real...
Read moreI went here and ordered food at the drive through window. I got food. I also got a coffee. The food was of an adequate temperature, and the coffee was iced. The staff was fine. I don't have unreasonable expectations of someone working at Dunkin. If you think you could do better, apply, I'm sure they're hiring since "no one wants to work". It was not Thanksgiving, so I didn't get someone that was mildy upset they're wasting their time at a Dunkin serving the ungrateful masses for mostly minimum wage instead of being with their family. I am a sane human being. I even used punctuation and turned off caps lock! Imagine that. I'm sure the staff is just making your coffee wrong because they're concerned you're going to develop type 2 diabetes from the 46 sugars...
