Grubeez 2014 — Restaurant in Davenport

I will never eat here again. Not only was the lady rude but she made me feel like it was my fault THEY messed up my order. I used door dash and when I received my order it was wrong and I was missing an item. So I called and they said they would correct it, to give them 20 mins. When I get there the first lady had no idea what I was talking about. Then a second lady came out and literally told me she wasn't gonna replace my food. Then proceeded to look at the ticket. I had the order pulled up on my phone as well. After going back and forth with this lady she finally took the food I brought back (which is something they shouldn't do) and remade my salad and my my missing food. But wouldn't remake my boyfriend's wrap because he ate of it. The lady was seriously rude and has no idea how to take care of customers. And I'm a general manager so I know. Came here based on yelp reviews. Not from Iowa so I don’t have much of expectations but great food based on my fellow yelpers. The outside of the restaurant needs a great uplift. Food: ordered catfish fingers with fries and slaw. Catfish was good! Crunchy and not greasy at all. The Cole slaw had a slight sweetness to it but not overpowering. Hubby ordered mushroom bacon Swiss with baked beans and mac n cheese. The burger had a thick patty and was delicious. Baked beans were baked beans. He didn’t like the Mac n cheese. It lacked flavor.

Me and boyfriend went here for a quick dinner trip. The lady was very nice and helped us with all our questions we had about what to get on the menu. We got so much food for $15 and even had left overs! Finding a restaurant/fast food place that fills me and my boyfriend up for cheap is very rare and Grubeez is our top place. Food was very good and came out hot. The service was very fast and we went during the summer so their backyard was up. Feels very welcoming and a cute date night!
