The Sugar Shack is so much more than a candy shop. The owner, Mike, is truly a hometown hero. He provides a safe place for everyone. They do crafts and other activities. Mike also helps families in need. He takes donations of clothes, food, and toiletries. It's the only place I donate. Please, don't throw out clothes, blankets, and coats. Please take them to the Sugar Shack. In Mike's words... Don't know exactly what to say, but I'll say this: The Sugar Shack is a ministry disguised as a business. The Lord is glorified in all we do. We don't just sell candies and other sweets because they are popular. We introduce candies and sweets that become popular. We give away clothing and food daily to those who need it. Sugar shack is located in Davenport on the west side the owner Mike is very swell dude a normal person who is down to earth and opens his Wi-Fi to the community... He is cool , funny , down to earth and very easy going... He also helps his community by supplying items people need : such as lamps mirrors , ECT , ECT I if there is something specific that you can use just ask him , then check back in with him in a couple days , so he has time to try and get it for you.... There is biblical preaching and Bible studies done every Saturday at 12:30. Everything about this place is a blessing and amazing. The snacks are amazingly affordable, the service is generous and kind, and most importantly the entire establishment is dedicated to sharing the love of God through the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
