I found a cooked black fly on the mushrooms. I had already ate some mushrooms before I picked this one up. I ate abt 8-10 crawfish’s before I decided to throw everything away. I threw up everything I had ate 3 hrs later. I chose this restaurant because crawfish shack is closed for the season and I was really craving crawfish. I’ve never had food at this place so it was my 1st time trying. The crawfish had an OK flavor. I had ordered spicy but it wasn’t spicy at all. I can't help but admire this place! We usually make the trip from downtown Houston to get our live crawfish, and every visit reminds me why I love it here so much. The communication over the phone is always on point, but today, I experienced a whole new level of joy. After years of just picking up my orders, I finally decided to sit down and enjoy a meal first. Love, love, love this place. Let me tell you, this is the only crayfish boil place that I've been to that didn't have potatoes that taste like dirt. Thats a huge plus because I am a 'sometimes' vegetarian lol (half a year). I bought a bunch of potatoes for cheap and ate the all in one sitting; instant regret but to stomach ache buy the were so good!
