My mother and I went there tonight Tuesday August 20 at about 9 30 pm. We tried to order over the phone and got hung up on. Should have been the first sign to not go...but we went anyway. I ordered the 10 piece wing and walleye. We got our food in the car and were driving home and the smell of the food was just off. Still in the bag, but filling the car with what should have been delicious chicken aroma...but even though the bag, we could tell something was not right. My mama bites into the chicken and as soon as she gets past the seasoned part she can instantly taste the gaminess of spoiled chicken. I being pregnant didn't even want to risk it. I didn't get walleye as I had ordered but 1 piece of what looks like perch maybe at the bottom of a bag. Not in a box or anything. I have tried to call them at least 20 times to inform them that the meat is spoiled so people dont get sick, but have still not been able to get anyone on the phone. Which leads me to believe they already knew and MADE THE CHOICE TO SELL SPOILED MEAT RATHER THAN TAKE THE LOSS AND TROW IT AWAY! Also if I can still smell it that potently after it being cooked SOMEONE HAD TO HAVE KNOWN WHEN IS WAS RAW THAT IS WAS NO GOOD. SHAME SHAME SHAME ON YOU JJs. I really hope no one gets seriously sick...
Read moreBefore we get started, this is my story and my opinion. I ordered 12/8/24 from Uber Eats. A cod dinner, okra and mozzarella sticks. What I'm starting to notice is a lot of these food places ( if you know, you know) starting to get skimpy with the food. I been noticing, not just JJ Fish at this location but some of the Chinese restaurants as well. I get fried fish, overly battered to make it appears bigger than what it is. I tear the crust off, there's more crust than fish, fish look like it has been cut up from its original size. The mozzarella cheese sticks is the same way, all that crust and little cheese. Okra is no longer appealing anymore, church's taste better. With this being said and to the owner who is reading my comment, if WE people quit buying your food, your establishment will close down, just like the old Super Duper on North Main Street in Dayton, the manager called US stupid, he was going to save a lot up the street, buying their food and bringing it back to the store to double the prices. Their store is out of business, without our money, no profit to people like you. I will no longer be eating from your establishment anymore. I posted the video on social media FYI along with the receipt,...
Read moreI was very disappointed with the chicken tenders six piece dinner I ordered. When I go to my doctor's appointment at VA in West Dayton, I would order from this place. I haven't been to JJs in awhile and seems like they change their recipe. The chicken lacked seasoning and I don't know what happened to the coating on tenders. I paid $15 for everything and I'm throwing my tenders in the trash. Also I ordered and paid for peach cobbler and sweet potato pie. Cashier told me they ran out of peach cobbler, so I asked for an another pie. I get all the way home and just have one pie instead of two. My fault didn't check order before I left. I won't be back anymore. There are too many better places to...
