Marion's Piazza - Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in Dayton

The pizza was great as ALWAYS! We rented out the entire far right, back section. They complained that our children and guests stay seated at all times. Apparently COVID strikes when standing at even great odds. This was a birthday party. For a 6 year old. Not the easiest to do nor did we feel we should. With the mask thing, within the mandate are exemptions. If you intend to follow that mandate, hence enforcing the mask, follow it in its entirety. Don't hand pick what in the mandate you follow.. The tiny wholes in the cloth of these face coverings are 100 x's larger than a virus and aerosols. Meaning... they can get in. Also, if I'm not sick id be known as asymptomatic. Asymptomatic people have never, not 1 time has there been any reported cases of asymptomatic individuals spreading a virus or causing an outbreak. Time to stand together, take off the face covering, and breathe fresh air. The insanity of refusing comsumers away is communism at its finest. I am American and can no longer go to my favorite family pizza place and dine in peace?!?! If you feel that your masks work for you, great! Please wear them!Don't force your fears on to me. If they work so well, it should be up to the individuals to wear one or not. Guess this is why they say common sense...

Went in today with wife for Lunch. It was the 60th anniversary of Marions pizza. They had a 60% off on pizza all day long. This place was bombarded with people. I went in and some guy comes up to me and says do you have a number, and I said no, should I have a number and said yes, they are outside the door and some employee was giving out the numbers and giving them to people while talking to a group of Amish ladies about their trip to Marions pizza. When I went back outside about a hundred more people were behind the Amish ladies and it was nonstop and backed all the way out beyond the parking lot. They told me the phone was not being answered for orders and that the online app was disabled to handle the influx of people. I said to heck with this noise to the manager and he told me to get out of the parking lot, or he was going to trespass against me for being at Marions. I could not believe this managers attitude and snotty remarks to a Senior like me. To heck with this place, Wife and I went over to ILLYS pizza the people treated me nice and courteous. One star is too many stars to give. First, it is as if people are chewing the toppings up and spitting them back on top the piazza before they cook it. Minced everything, like eating bird barf aimed at chicks. Second, when I informed them that they messed my order up, they looked me square in the face and questioned me as if I where mistakenly accused them of adding a pound minced pork on my cheese and banana pepper piazza. Thirdly, they messed up our second piazza, and when I informed them of there next error, it was a shock they added pepperonis to our all Cheese piazza, and actually uttered a refusal to issue a refund because there was less than a quarter of the piazza gone. I told them to call the Sheriffs if they refuse to refund my dollars. They did refunded my money, but they called the sheriffs and asked them to trespass me from their business. I have not been to Marion’s Piazza in 12 years, because last time is I was discussed by their minced toppings and under cooked cheese and burnt edges and soggy centered crust!
