We went for the first time to this place for Father's Day brunch because Tank's and The Brunch Club were closed. We were informed after getting seated that the buffet is $28 per person...more than we wanted, but it looked decent overall, so we stuck with it. We must have gotten our plates at the right time because they ran out of plates and were getting low on food. Folks were asked to give it 10 minutes to get plates and fresh food. It was at least 20-25 mins for new plates which were gone in an instant, leaving some at tables that had never gotten food without plates. You could feel and see the frustration in people. The server was good overall. The food ranged from average to good, but not much refreshed food ever came out. It seemed like only one person was cooking. We got our check after being there way too long, and that's when it got to be a farce. Yes, we overpaid for the almost average food and poor circumstances, but they actually charged us extra for a soft drink and had an additional fee of almost $4 non-cash fee without disclosing that prior. This is straight-up petty and unethical. I had actually told my family that I wanted to come back again towards the beginning, but I will now never return. I tipped our server well and consider my complete overcharge, almost $40 per person in the end, a donation to poorly run locally owned business. They knew they were giving folks a poor experience and did nothing proactive to lessen the impact for customers....

I went here for karaoke night on Friday to sing a song for my sister, who has cancer. I was going to sing one of her favorite songs and dedicate it to her. I’m not the type to go out in public, so this was a very special occasion for me. After the DJ got done singing his song (not sure why the DJ prioritizes himself over the patrons), I spoke with him and requested to sing just one song for my sister. I explained that she has cancer and doesn’t have much longer to live and this dude did not care AT ALL! He completely dismissed me and said he was closing the karaoke. He didn’t even say “sorry to hear that” or anything. Just completely rude & dismissive. He didn’t care about my sister or the fact that I went out of my way to go out in public & do this for her. Also for a place that closes at 2:30 AM, stopping the karaoke at 1:00 is kind of stupid. The place looked nice, clean, relaxed, and the bartender was very nice & expedient. It would probably be a place I would like to come back to if not for the rudeness & lack of compassion of the DJ. Suffice to say, he did not let me sing the song for my sister. He made sure to get his in though. Sometimes all it takes to ruin a place...

Went for breakfast this past weekend and will be back again this weekend for sure! We ordered the chicken and waffles, and the steak and eggs respectively. The chicken was hand breaded in house and fried fresh; it came out perfectly salted and still juicy, no dried out chicken here. Steak was ordered mid rare and came out with the correct temp, also very flavorful. They likely have the best steak and egg prices in town at $13.00 given that the steak itself was a proper steak not the flimsy, thin steaks other places in town serve. Our server was on top of everything too! You could tell he was a vet of the industry; refills would be there just as you finished up your previous glass, enough check ins to make sure we were happy but not so many that we felt we were being rushed or intruded upon. If you see this head tattoo guy, you were awesome! Really the only thing I wish they would change is bringing in some booths or low table...

Ya seen Cheers? This night was it. A TRUE neighborhood bar /grill. Locals abound with karaoke, the spotlight on a Friday night. This spot offers a great grill selection, darts, pool, a couple arcade games, keno, and entrance side patio. Taps poured standard domestics and a couple Ohio local brews. Full bar with regular specials. This place has a breakfast menu served, If I remember correctly, on Sundays. Seems to be the cats meow. Nearly everyone talked about it. Being the outsiders, we were immediately accepted, approached, and welcomed. The bartender, kitchen, and all staff did a banging job keeping everything moving and attended to. If I'm ever back in the area, you bet your as* I'm gonna find a reason to go out of my way to make a stop. Be sure to follow me for 13k+ Google contributions

This place was fun!!! People chose good songs!!! Someone I know suggested I go. There were approximately 3 POC to like 20 non POC. I only mention it because the person whom I went there with is a POC. They made comments about it, positive comments. As a POC, I notic who the demographics are. I was treated extremely well, I feel, because I behaved in a normal manner!!! It was nice to get out and talk with people!!! I think of myself like a SIM from the game. I need a certain level of interaction!! The female wait staff was a peach!! Very sweet and nice. The big 8 ft tall guy.....we had no interaction, period. Pity. If you like karaoke, reasonably priced drinks, good food, LOVED the fries, give it a try! I think kerosene is on Sat and Sunday look it up to be sure.

Nice neighborhood tavern, like many establishments these days, they seemed to be struggling with staffing which I understand. The server was attentive and apologetic, gave the impression she was one of the owners. The crowd all seemed to be enjoying themselves. We had heard good things about the wings but we were a little disappointed other than the fact that they were running a special, $1 a wing. For a buck a wing they were not bad but if we had paid full price we would not have felt they lived up to the hype. Some of the wings had broken bones which is always a negative for me. The fried pickles were nothing special. Beer selection was decent if you like big brand domestic. Would recommend for a pleasant spot to grab a decent snack and a tall cold one.
