Honestly out of all the soul food places I’ve tried in Ohio, this place seems to be the best. This was my second time here on a Friday so I ordered the catfish dinner with greens and yams as my side. Catfish was super delicious and seasoned very well and crispy. After taking my first bite I wanted to go back in the restaurant and high five the chef. I also got an extra side of Mac and cheese which was good. I also ordered the gumbo greens but they were a bit too salty for my liking. I would rather just stick with the OG greens. Looking forward to going back and trying more stuff.

When I say this food put me to sleep!!!!! Unbelievably delicious! Oven baked macaroni and cheese, fish fried to order, aaand yams were all hitting! I’ll be back again!

This was my second time eating at this place. The first time the food was good. The second time I was not happy. After driving 20 miles back to my home to my surprise I had the wrong food. I called to let them know but they were not concerned. The candid yams I did not order look like the potatoes out of the can and look like mush baby food. Can sweet potatoes does not taste the same as real sweet potatoes. The smoked wings did not taste like smoked wings and they should have been cooked more. They were a little...

I’m a foodie and an avid traveler. The meal we had at this restaurant has put some of the most expensive and supposedly authentic and southern restaurants to shame!! The food was so good, it tasted just as good when we microwaved it later to finish it!!! I’d give it 10 stars if I could!!!
