Wendy's — Restaurant in Dayton

Went to this location two days ago ... about 11:15 am... I had tried to order ahead but the app wouldn't work, I tried to go inside and I was stared at by people inside who watched me try both doors to get in only to be locked ... tried to go through drive through and it was blocked by the truck that's been working there! We decided to eat somewhere else!!! Fast forward to today, we go order our food and tried to use a discount coupon at the window (qr code) she said it told her it failed and she didn't know what to do and ran my card anyway without the discount... that's not proper procedure but whatever... I wasn't horribly worried about the extra few dollars. That was until I realized they shorted the most expensive sandwich on my order from my bag!!! Mind you... they gave me 1 bag for 2 $5 biggie bag orders as well as a chicken sandwich, fry and cheese cup!!! I knew there shouIdve been more bags/food!!! So i sent my husband in and when he came back with my sandwich and cheese cup he says "he already had it ready to go, he looked kinda disappointed that he had to give it up!" He said this in a confusing manner... like he was confused as to why... he then says " the girl from the window turned around and said 'oh, they came back?!' and she said it with a smirk on her face!" We get home to realize that the fry was missing out of the bag!!! Now, I'm not usually a complainer to this extreme but yall need to beware of this scam they are pulling at this location!!! So what's happening, is they are shorting food from larger orders and eating for free!!! The bag the kid had was my whole order... he had already taken the fry out and started eating it by the time my husband got in there thinking we wouldn't come back for it.... they didn't expect us to check the bag as soon as we pulled away from the window!!! Also ... I'm shorted food items every single time I go to this location!!! I tried to call the store to at the very least be refunded for my $3 fry but they won't answer and my husband said it doesnt even look like there is a manager in there... so here we are!!! Do...

Ordered a number 3 10pc nugget large. The lady did not ring it up correctly but from the communication we had she obviously mistook me asking to biggie size it as I was asking for a biggie bag. She could have just corrected it by asking if I’m trying to get a biggie bag or a combo. She was very nice and just upped my drink and fry. The fries were cold and had a aftertaste and was greasy. Probably old oil but who knows maybe it was just the amount of time they had been sitting. The nuggets were fine. I got a 6 pc spicy nugget 2 jr frostys and a large frosty. It was 20 dollars for 16 nuggets a fry drink and 3 frostys the fries sucked so bad and it really makes me question why even order fast food anymore? The food is poison the quality sucks and you pay a a lot for it. I use to work for Wendy’s when I was 16 and can’t believe that the food at this one was so poorly executed at 730 on a Saturday night when the restaurant looked dead. Was there between 1245 and 1300 hrs on February 1, 2024 and had to wait in line inside the store for at least 15 to 20 minutes. When it became my turn to place my order the person who was running the cash register and filling orders at the counter virtually ignored me...... I'm not sure if she was the manager or not. When I spoke up and asked her if I was invisible after standing there for about 7 more minutes. Her excuse was "I need to get these other orders out." I noticed the people in front of me who ordered did not have to wait to place their order because that same lady would take a break from filling orders to wait on them. Her attitude was extremely poor, she was unapologetic for making me wait so long, which literally caused me to walk out of the store upset that I waited there so long without getting anything to eat or for that matter being acknowledged as a customer. I've not seen that total lack of customer service in a very long time so needless to say I will never set foot in that restaurant again. Besides that, Wendy's is...
