Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

This location within the university is not consistent with the rest of the Chick-Fil-A that, above all else, is known for their outstanding service. The cashiers tend to be pushy and hardly anyone seems like they enjoy their job. A big inconsistency that I noticed was no one saying "My pleasure," which while isn't exactly a problem, it just showcases the lack of proper customer service on the part of the employees.

Furthermore, I was informed that they quote, "don't do refills" per the order of higher-ups. To my knowledge and experience from literally any other Chick-Fil-A location, this is also not part of their policy, further frustrating my visit.

I had also informed a worker that I had accidentially spilled my drink all over the table when a worker unrelated to the conversation rather sharply exclaims the "No refills" mantra that I heard before, causing me to exclaim my own frustration with the worker given they had no business or knowledge as to what was going on. I was eventually given the refill from the worker that I originally talked to but then I got glares from every worker after I frustratingly explained that that I had actually spilled my drink all...

They think because we are college students they can scam us. I ordered breakfast and got the bowl with chicken, egg, and hash browns. The meal comes with a side and drink and it was around $6 and change. When reviewing my receipt after the transaction, I noticed that they charged me for each individual item instead of the meal. My total was near $8-$9 and they had to get a whole $2-$4 more out of me for what? I work two jobs and I am full time in college and they are pulling this kind of stuff? If it was an honest mistake, train your employees better. Even though this is inside a university food court, it is still a Chik-Fil-A location. I will not be returning. Absolutely first class service and friendliness. One of the best fast food experiences I've ever had. Looking forward to an expansion to a full sized restaurant as soon as possible!

Edit: Removing a star. During the transition to the new Student Union Building, the menu setup, meal plan value, ordering line setup, and item availability was handled extremely poorly. Even to this day, the cashiers will all give different answers when asked what a meal plan gets you. Milkshakes are not always available, and the pickup line is a complete disaster.
