The Hard Deck Tiki Bar — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

Worst experience. Show up 6.30 Host will not seat me at empty table near the range to view. Says reserved. Seats me and 2 others in my party with 3 other tables same area. Bartender comes over and ask for drink order and appetizer. Brings back drinks does not take entree order. Not very friendly or engaging. Does not seem to want to be there. More interested in the 2 young guys at the bar than the 3 tables. Wait for 45 mins for the 3 entrees. maybe 1 hour. Ready to cancel the order and leave pay for app daughter now with headache from no food for so long. They close at 8pm. Our order comes out at 7.50 and the fries are under cooked and raw inside, wings ok, burger good. Brings 1 burger of the 2 with wrong side. Got boxed and checked out to leave. Now she is more eager to help. Back in the section we cant sit. 1 table with 3 or 4 guys. We sitting with 3 other tables. Why take so long for food to show up. 3 employees in restaurant. Host / waitress/ bartender. I assume that 2 of them in the back cooking too. Never going back her ever even to use the range for shooting session. For a huge business with such big square footage and in the tourist area of Daytona. You are not delivering. Do...

OMG!!! This is our second time visiting VTG but our first time eating at the Double Barrel Grill. The restaurant is cute and has a ton of decorations and TV's for Sports/Nascar viewing. I honestly did not have high expectations from the food being that it was at a shooting range. Our server, was new but friendly- her and I had a quick conversation prior to even knowing if we would be patrons of the restaurant. I ordered the Grilled PepperJack Chicken sandwich and the Sweet Potato Puffs- our server suggested I try it with honey as most patrons enjoy it as such. We had our kicking calamari appetizer and I was in love with the Sriracha Lime dressing they used and asked for that as well. My honey ordered their Famous Tog Gun Burger I believe and asked for it with two cheeses instead of one- no questions or side eyes, everything was made to our request and it was DELICIOUS!!! Our server was attentive, refilling our drinks anytime we were low and even fetched us the Wifi password. Its been 5 days and I'm still thinking of those delicious sweet potato puffs dipped in honey. We recently dined at the Double Barrel Grill and chose to sit on their Hard Deck Tiki Bar—what an exceptional experience! The outdoor seating provided a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying the evening breeze. The live music added a vibrant touch, making the ambiance lively yet comfortable. 

The food was outstanding. We started with the Kickin’ Calamari, which was crispy and paired wonderfully with the sriracha-lime sauce. For our main courses, the Bacon Blue Burger stood out with its flavorful combination of smokehouse bacon and bleu cheese, while the Cedar Plank Salmon was cooked to perfection, retaining its moist texture and rich taste. The menu offers a diverse selection, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
