went back for lunch on 5/5/25, service was much better, we got our refills! they seemed to be more attentive & got better service overall. looks like they used this review as feedback & realized their need to change. 8/10 for food & service combined. thanks! … ate lunch here today. had to ask for a straw twice. the waitress got straws, put them in her pocket and walked by us twice. had to ask the manager for the third time. never once received a refill. we sat and watched tons of people wait for at least 10 minutes+ for someone to even acknowledge their presence or for them to be seated. the guy in the back cooking should have been out waiting on people because he was sweet & on top of things.

not to mention, during our visit on 4/24/25, at about 12:23-12:25pm, the waitress was carrying rolled silverware and dropped one, on the dirty floor, picked it back up, and put it with the rest of the rolled silverware. I’m sorry?? but wouldn’t you throw the napkin away and rewash the silverware? I included the date and time so owners & managers can pull footage and hold this lady responsible. the absolute worst service I have ever received and I’ve worked in the restaurant industry myself. all of these 5 star reviews have no comments, but the ones with 1 stars leave the most feedback. the new restaurant renovation doesn’t match how the service. very...

In a town with an over-abundance of Mexican restaurants, many people were heartbroken when Tres Agaves came to town. The building housed a fantastic Italian restaurant, ran by great people. Those owners told folks the building's owners were evicting them in order to lease to the new, incoming Mexican place. It seemed comically awful. I actually refused to eat there for ages on 'principle.' Y'all. This is hands down the best Mexican place I've EVER eaten at, anywhere, and that's saying something. If you're a fan of Mexican and live anywhere in this region, you know that's you've got your TexMex, MexMex, & ArkMex, then your EcuaMex, VenezMex, and so on seemingly into infinity. We call it all Mexican even though often it's quite something else, which can color people's opinions. I think this is a beautiful blend of authentic Mexican and ArkMex. First time I have had such a bad experience here, I'm debating if I want to go back. It took 3 people to place order over the phone due to language the first person the second didn't understand what I wanted. The Manager finely got on the phone. I think his name was Alex, he took the order, and he even repeated back to me, and it was correct. He told me how much and how long it would be. My husband picked up the order when he got home it was not correct. It was a different price too. I called told them my order was not correct I preceeded to tell him what we got he said yes you got what you paid for I told him but not what I ordered. Finely after a while he said he understood what I needed. So I drove back to get the rest of the order. They charged me another $15.48, I said really!
