Stumbled upon this place while passing through the area, and what timing did we have! We walked in and there was a crowd of people so large we almost left. Thankfully we didn't, because we got to see how neat this place is. There was a "Caffeine Crawl" group ahead of us but the line actually moved really fast, and we shockingly didn't have to wait too long for our food and drinks. The staff was really nice and we loved the unique twists on classic menu items. They do not brew their own coffee beans here but have a partnership with Messenger Coffee in KC. The coffee was fine, but we especially enjoyed our food. The atmosphere was very unique - adorable house with a fireplace and cozy chairs (porch swing, outdoor seating, bar stools, a couch, you name it). They also have some surprises to the space if you explore. ;) While we waited for our order, the owner spoke to the group ahead of us and we got to hear about how/why the place was started and wow! What a cool story. The owner has done this, not for any income, but as a passion project on the side of her job as a way to give back to her community. They host a lot of events & meetups here it sounds like - basketball, concerts/musical events. So unique! I recommend checking this place out - a cozy spot that contributes to...

Absolutely love this unique coffee shop and what they are all about. I found this place through another person via IG and I'm so glad we drove up the 25 minutes to come try this place. We ended up having great conversations with the barista s and a few other people that were sitting by us that also had their little one with them. A very cozy place, outside sitting area is so welcoming as well as the porch swing area. You just feel welcome from the first time you step foot inside this place. We got Alpine and my taste buds are forever changed! Everything we tried is phenomenal and hand crafted with love and attention to detail. They have gluten free, dairy free options. Their coffee is astounding in everywhere. We came to try and left with a mug to mark this memory and another coffee to go. We honestly didn't want to leave. We live in south KS, but will make the drive up to them anytime we need "a good place to be and good people to be around" feeling. Which is more often these days. Please go see this...

I recently visited Cause Coffee for the first time and I LOVED it!! The staff are incredibly friendly and personable, and if they make a mistake they fix it with no questions asked. I had the yogurt bowl which was perfect and the serenity smoothie which was also very good. My boyfriend had the chocolate (shake or malt I don't remember) but he loved it and I tried it and it was very good. Also good to mention that the area is comfortable and they have prompt service:)

Their utensils and bowls are compostable which is so important in today's society!! I had questions about this and emailed the owner who quickly and kindly responded to me in a matter of hours with answers to all my questions. I will likely be making this a weekly Saturday tradition! Thank you Cause Coffee for...

Beautiful, bright and busy are the words that come to mind when I stepped inside Cause Coffee. I've been meaning to visit this place for sometime and made the trip today. It's located in a remodeled house in downtown De Soto with seating inside and out. Walking in, I was amazed at how crowded it was for a Wednesday morning. Almost every table was full! I ended up snagging one of the last tables. Soon after, my order was ready. I ended up getting a vanilla latte and a blueberry scone (warmed up) for breakfast! Both were delicious! Overall, I was very impressed and will definitely be back. A must visit if your in the area or just want to make the trip to De Soto.

Love this space! 🙌🏼 And the lattes are delicious - they use an organic syrup out of Portland (or at least they have in the past) which I think is what makes their specialty lattes extra amazing! Had the orange pecan latte that was delicious! Be prepared: Price wise for specialty lattes is a bit of sticker shock after the up charge for oatmilk - 12 oz latte was $7.68, so after a tip I paid almost $9 which is not a price I could justify more than a couple visits a month. Not complaining, just providing price reference for their specialty lattes (and if you like oatmilk substitute).
