I was watching Football on TV and saw Shaquille O'Neal doing a commercial promoting the Shaq-a-roni pizza at Papa John's and decided to go get one to enjoy while watching Sunday night football. There's not a good way to say this so here goes: What a God awful waste of time and money. The pizza was ready when promised but what they DO NOT tell you when you're placing your order is that you MUST have small bills to pay for it. This creates a TERRIBLE experience when you drive all the way there without some form of United States currency that they happen to accept. I'm sure they believe that they have a logical reason for this, but none that anyone from Earth would find acceptable. At any rate, I was fortunate that a gas station adjacent to the pizzaria was available to get change from. Otherwise I would probably suggested a proper place for them to put their pizza. Once home, I was unhappy to discover that the pizza looked nothing like the one I saw Shaq making in the TV commercial. In FACT, Pizza Huts Pepperoni Lovers Pizza has MUCH more pepperoni on it and it actually tastes Good. So I tried my first pizza from Papa John's. Don't worry everyone, eventually this taste in my mouth will go away. I found it pretty bad. I hated the sauce and the lack of pepperoni and the FACT that it had from an inch and a half up to two inches of surrounding crust. I forced myself to eat just enough of if so that I wouldn't have to go back out again to a Pizza Hut, Domino's, Hungry Howies, or the grocery store for a replacement pizza. The rest of my first time Papa John's pizza is appropriately on the beginning of it's journey to a local landfill. Eat it at your own...
Read moreThis is the WORST Papa John’s around! I’ve had so many problems, mainly having my order delivered. Don’t even try ordering near 10pm! I did using their app and ordering online. I checked their store hours yesterday and it said 11pm. It was about 9:50 when I was online and finished placing my order before 10pm. I called the store about 15 minutes later to add a pop to my order but I was on hold for almost 10 minutes so I hung up. Called again around 10:30pm then I got an 800 call from their customer service telling me they can’t deliver my order. Couldn’t they have called me when they did get the order instead of wasting a half hour of my time and not getting anything?
Don’t get me wrong, their pizza’s are the best around! We like ordering online and getting the points and there are also great specials and promo codes too! I wish there was a place online where you can get a message to the person(s) making the pizzas if there’s a specific request or if they can bake in between regular and we’ll done or to let them know to keep up the good work! There definitely needs to be some kind of push there to get up to speed! We used to love this place a lot but after giving them several chances we’re not sure what we’ll do the next time...
I’ll change my post if there’s a change and service is good. The manager has tried to make it right the next day but we were hungry the day before. I sure hate writing bad reviews. I don’t think any other ones I wrote...
Read moreThis place is run terribly. I called to order pizza at 9:15 and I was 5 minutes down the road. The manager took my order and then the pizza never showed up! My pregnant sister was craving the bread sticks with the garlic butter sauce and never ever showed. We called the next morning and the manager picks up and was incredibly rude and said “well I wasn’t the manager on duty so I don’t know what happened” no apology and then she snapped and yelled at me and said “I said I wasn’t on duty if you want a refund call back at 3”. Then I called back and 3 and the next manager said “oh I had to cancel your order someone didn’t call you?” And we said no and she said “oh well yea it was too close to closing time.” No sorry. Nothing. Why did we have to call to get a refund when you knew you weren’t going to deliver our food? Why no apology? Take your money elsewhere. When management is lazy and rude imagine what the employees and food...
