Title: BED BUG! ROACHES! SUFFICATION! NIGHTMARE!
Review: today I had the misfortune of staying at the Chatura Hotel, and I must say, it was an absolutely dreadful experience. From the moment I arrived at 4 am until I hastily left at 6:30 am, it was a night filled with misery and regret. Despite having read the existing reviews, I never expected the level of horror I encountered.
Firstly, let's address the roaches. While I had mentally prepared myself for less than desirable conditions, the presence of these unwelcome creatures was just the beginning of my ordeal. It quickly became apparent that the hotel's problems extended far beyond a mere pest issue.
The incessant blaring of the fire alarm next door was perhaps the most infuriating aspect of my stay. Apparently, the batteries were dead, and instead of promptly fixing the problem, the hotel staff allowed this shrill and disruptive noise to persist. It was impossible to get any rest or peace of mind in such an environment.
To make matters worse, my next-door neighbor decided it was the perfect time to have their television on full blast until 5 am. The lack of consideration for other guests' well-being was truly astonishing. The incessant noise robbed me of precious sleep, and I was left feeling exhausted and frustrated.
As if the noise wasn't enough, the condition of the room itself was abysmal. The bed sheets were filthy and unkempt, leaving me questioning whether they had been cleaned at all. The room reeked of a vile combination of cigarette smoke and marijuana emanating from the neighboring occupant's room. The overpowering stench made it difficult to breathe and created an extremely unpleasant atmosphere.
However, the absolute worst part of my stay was discovering a bed bug infestation. To add insult to injury, I was bitten by one of these repulsive creatures at 6:30 am, forcing me to hastily vacate the premises without any alternative accommodation. The fact that the hotel was not only aware of this issue but failed to take appropriate measures is beyond appalling.
In conclusion, my experience at Chatura Hotel was nothing short of disgusting. From the roaches and the incessant fire alarm to the noise pollution and the repugnant smells, this establishment failed to provide even the most basic level of comfort and hygiene. The presence of bed bugs was the final straw, leaving me no choice but to flee the premises. I implore anyone considering staying at this hotel to think twice and seek alternative...
Read moreThere was roaches all over the room, the room in general was not what was advertised, the floors were so sticky that we couldn’t put our items down, much less walk without our shoes sticking, the elevator was sketchy and honestly terrifying - how this was allowed to be used for the public is beyond me. There were no blankets, just a sheet and all the pillows were disgusting. My boyfriends shoe accidentally got pushed under the bed and when i grazed the ground with my hand, it was so unclean I (not jokingly) scrubbed and bleached my hands. There was no trash bin and no mini fridge. No microwave either but we weren’t expecting that. The main light didn’t work, and the one lamp was plugged in behind the bed, so whenever you moved on the bed, the light would flicker. Total fire hazard. The safety latch on the door was beyond broken, and there were holes in the bathroom door. The water pressure for the shower was non existent, and the room, even though the hotel is advertised as non smoking, reeked of cigarette smoke and weed. The staff wasn’t friendly, and whenever we walked in and out of the hotel, would constantly interrogate me and my mother if we were guests and needed to show our key room to prove so. Horrible horrible horrible stay. 10/10 do...
Read moreWe were out of power due to an ice storm and this was the only choice we reserved online through trip.com. The staff were friendly. However, the room was very dirty. The bathroom was dirty with hairs on the toilet, in the shower. Missing ceiling tiles in bathroom. No blankets on the beds and one white sheet with brown stains, hair and dirt/possible dry blood. Pillows also had several small curly hairs that matched those on the toilet. Radiator heat with no controls, the heat was unbearable. No shades on the window. The baseboards had 2 inches of dust. Floor was filthy. Shower was full of mildew and water dripped constantly. Strong odor of Marijuana, loud blasting rap music, children running and screaming until. Found a broken small glass pipe with a black substance near the nightstand. Box springs were slashed and so much dirt and hair along the bed rails. The only nice thing was the television. When i went and asked for bleach wipes to clean the room, i was given an open pack of hand wipes with 2 dry wipes. No refunds allowed. We sat on the edge of the bed, watched you tube and left as soon as the sun came up. Please do not stay there unless you absolutely have no other choice. Staying in a vehicle...
