My sister, a close friend of ours, and myself decided to try out a new Yemeni restaurant. I had came across so many that I had never been to before. I sent my sister different options to choose from. She made her choice so quickly based on the reviews, and so Oasis Kitchen it was. I have to say, I am not one to ever really leave a review. However, there was no way I couldn't leave one about this place. I am an extremely picky eater, and I don't do red meat much. However, my usual are lentil soup and veggie seltah. I started with the lentil soup and from the first spoonful, I was beyond amazed! It was so different from all other lentil soups I have had. There have been many great ones, but this soup by far for me topped them all. I followed that with the veggie seltah, and I couldn't be more thrilled. I am not one to ever finish my food, as I get full quickly. However, it was not the case this time. I ate everything!!! I was full, but so interested in trying other dishes, that I ordered a chicken gallayah and foul to go as well. I had those the next day and my oh my, beyond delicious! My sister and our friend ordered the Fahsa and a veggie seltah as well. I quote her when I say this, "It was by far the best I've ever had!" She was beyond satisfied with the Fahsa. If there was one word to describe all of the food we had, it would have to be "FLAVORFUL". Aside from the food being nothing less than yummy, it was the first day on the job for our waitress, and she was absolutely incredible! She handled everything so well, and we were all beyond pleased. The owner also came up to us and asked how everything was, which was extremely thoughtful. He went out of his way to make sure everything was good. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about other restaurants that I have been to. I already have plans to return later this week with another friend for dinner. I am looking forward to being a regular at this place! Overall, from the welcoming atmosphere, the quality of the food, and the ambiance of the restaurant, everything was truly exceptional! 10/10 to say the least! If you haven't been to this place, you are truly missing out! THANK YOU to Oasis Kitchen and all of it's staff for such a wonderful...

Read moreFood is great but the owner doesn't know how to run a business. They don't ever enough staff so they always take forever to make and bring your food. At some point we people have enough of this terrible service and never come back which is why they don't have enough customers and so they cannot afford hiring enough staff and so this vicious cycle continues.
To give you the most recent example, on Eid, there was a massive line at the front desk just for people to get assigned a table. Then we had to beg them to get us waters and finally had to get it ourselves, Then, finally when he took the order, he came back and told us one of our selections was not available, then after 10 more minutes they came back to ask if we wanted whole or half chicken? Are you serious? You didn't know that dish had that option to ask that question in the first place?
Then after 40 mins the waiter came back to inform us one of our dishes was only available for breakfast. How come their own waiter didn't know that and it took the chef to tell him 40 mins? The only explanation is that this is a one man show where insane turnover where they never have people who have been around long enough to know what the heck they're doing.
Long story short after waiting 1:10 hours we just told them we can't wait any longer and asked them to give us the order to go so we waited 10 more minutes. We...
