El Corral Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Decatur

The service was ok ! However the silverware was filthy and sent bk three time's.. My steak was ordered "WELL DONE"it came to me with the heart still beating alive and rare.. I sent it bk however I couldn't eat I had no silverware !!!😡😡😡😡The mgr gave me the remake however my server didn't check bk... She had to be flagged down after picking at my steak with my fingers I DIDN'T WANT IT😡😡😡😡needless to SAY it was extremely bland a plain piece of bread has more flavors.. I will NOT BE BK EVER.. Going to bed hungry with NO dinner extremely IRRITATED and hungry.. I should of went to McDonald's at least I KNOW the food is ALWAYS HORRIBLE but I expect that from McDonald's NOT a sit DOWN restaurant.. I DIDN'T even eat and the bill was still 27.00 bucks.. No a manger never spoke with me about the dirty silverware and the broken chipped plate my food was served on..#RIDICULOUS THEY NEED THE HEALTH INSPECTOR...

We had a reservation for 8 last night. It took 30 mins to seat us and the hostess asked us if we all wanted to sit together (really?). We had to ask for menus, silverware, straws and asked numerous times for water which we never got. We even sat there with food and no silverware for 10 mins. Service was horrible. I can't eat dairy and asked not to have cheese. There was cheese brought on my beans and although he immediately took my plate to fix it, he came back and rudely said "there's no cheese on this!" I told him to look at the beans. It was obvious when the plate was brought back it was just scraped off. Food tasted fine (would give 4 stars for the food) but the whole experience with service from start to finish was terrible. Overpriced too. The waiter had to be waved down for any request as he never checked on us. We will be going back to Don Sol in Mattoon...

First of all, NOT REAL MEXICAN FOOD. who serves tacos with cheese and lettuce? Real tacos have cilantro and onions. And when I asked if they had horchata they said they don’t serve that. That’s the moment I knew my experience was going to be bad. The chips and salsa were the only ok thing there and that’s only because I don’t like spicy foods so the salsa was not spicy at all. It tasted like the Tostitos dip from jewel. The margaritas were super bitter. I couldn’t even finish my chicken burrito! It had no taste and it was super packed with chicken. My husband got some tacos with mozzarella cheese lettuce and cortijo cheese. Never have I seen tacos served that way. Anyways POINT IS we went to this restaurant on 12/12/2021 and til this day I’m in bed sick to my stomach. Haven’t ate since That burrito. Thanks El...
