We ate at the old location in Decatur several times a year and always enjoyed it. A few weeks ago we went to the new location in Priceville on a Friday night. After being seated, we waited over 25 minutes for a waitress to acknowledge that we were there and take our drink order. After about 35 minutes of waiting to get two iced teas, we both ordered sushi. We could tell that the sushi chef completed our order relatively quickly but our waitress let it sit there for approximately 15 minutes, walking by it about 10 times and never even looking at it. The service was the worst Ive ever had there by far, but I was willing to overlook it once because weāve always enjoyed the restaurant over the years.
We went back tonight, again on a Friday night. It was crowded, but we were seated relatively quickly. There appeared to be a sufficient amount of wait staff in the dining room. After almost 30 minutes of not being acknowledged by a single member of the wait staff for even a drink order, the 4 of us got up and walked out. This is something I rarely do. I will not return to Fulins in Priceville. I suggest you go to another place to eat. They obviously do not care about even basic...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNothing warms my heart up more than seeing a restaurant that employs the mentally challenged. When I came to Fulin, I came expecting a sub-standard Asian Cuisine experience. However I was met with a cashier who did not know that I placed an order. My cook also seemed to have a problem with his glove, as he glanced at it constantly to a point where his psychic powers left a glow on the glass. Truly magnificent. And after this masterful service, we were asked how much we were going to tip. I must reiderate on what I said earlier, seeing the mentally challenged enjoy their job is truly beautiful, I mean give them credit. The cashier didn't know that someone could order online and from what I understood could not read. I requested fried rice without eggs, a true challenge for the most skilled chefs, and it appeared to me that I didn't know what I wanted. I received fried fice filled to the brim with egg. Not only are they masters of service, but also Elite's in the art of reading. Thank you for reading this review, and thank you Full in for giving the mentally challenged a place to work. God bless and may the force...
Read moreThe food was okay. The service was TERRIBLE... and I do mean AWFUL! The "waiter" that finally acknowledged us after WE waited for 15 minutes, took our order, didn't ask us what we wanted to drink. NEVER refilled our WATER (all 3 of us ordered the easiest thing to keep filled....), had to be asked 3 times for yum yum sauce, and when he finally brought it, it was in this tiny saucer that barely held 3 tablespoons (for the whole table). I ordered sushi and he said he wouldn't recommend it because it could take 25 minutes. So I ordered something else, but it still took well over half an hour to get the food we ordered. The appetizers and main entrées came out at the same time. We all needed refills on our waters that never came. I will admit the food wasn't bad. But it definitely wasn't good enough to make me ever want to go back there. 2/5 stars for the food. -5 stars for service. One...
