Far-too-generous 1-star review Please read this entire post — and do yourself a favor: DO NOT waste your time or hard-earned money.
I’ve been coming to the Hardee’s in Harriman, TN every morning for nearly five years, but it’s time to call it what it is: this place has gone completely downhill.
You can’t even get a basic breakfast anymore. No orange juice. No milk. No smoked sausage. And if you order biscuit and gravy, they’ll hand you the gravy in a coffee cup. It’s honestly embarrassing at this point.
But what’s worse than the poor service is the dishonesty.
The new GM — Ashley — left a 5-star review about herself using her accounts. On top of that, she’s having employees like “Bailey White” post fake glowing reviews, pretending to be happy customers to make the store look better. Meanwhile, loyal regulars like me — the people who’ve supported this place for years — are being driven away.
This isn’t just tacky. It’s deceptive, and it violates the trust of paying customers.
And I say that from experience: Before I changed careers, I was a district manager for a major food chain for many years. I know how a well-run store operates — and this is absolutely not it.
Faking reviews is not common practice in the restaurant industry. It’s dishonest and completely unacceptable. The public deserves transparency — not smoke and mirrors.
As of today, I’m done. I’ll be taking my business to anywhere down the road, where at least the management is honest and the basics are in stock. Anywhere but the Hardee’s Harriman location from now on.
Hardee’s corporate: your Harriman location is falling apart — and the people running it are more focused on protecting their image than actually fixing the problems. Get somebody to train them or get a manager that knows...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I got dinner at this location. I ordered the three piece chicken tenders and he ordered a mushroom and Swiss. We upgraded the meal to a large. First thing they forgot our straws, no big deal. We pull up and check our bag before leaving the parking lot. The fries and the tenders were nowhere near being close to warm. Like I understand most of these places have heat lamps right? So after the food is cooked it stays warm? But there was no way either of these were made fresh. So we pull around and my boyfriend takes the food inside the restaurant to let them know the issue. So it takes so long for them to remake it they had to remake his burger as well. They give him the “new” food and we take a look at it. The fries were nice and hot and I’m starving by this point so I gobbled half them down really quick. I was so excited about these tenders because normally they are one of my favorites. They were so chewy and hard and definitely tasted re-dropped in the fryer. I am so disappointed and disgusted I had to spit them out. We will not return and we definitely DO...
Read moreEdit: Hardee’s has taken a serious dive. The beef is just ok now, the onion rings aren’t beer battered any more, serious corners have been cut. I can’t lower the star rating because as a Hardee’s, this is still a five star store, it’s not their fault corporate didn’t learn their lesson in the 90’s when corner cutting drove the company into the ground.
Every single time I’ve gone, I’ve gotten exactly what I ordered, the staff was polite and courteous, and the food was fresh. The service is usually quick, the only time it wasn’t I went fairly close to closing time and the manager explained that he wasn’t happy with the fries he had so it took a bit to fry new ones. He even upped the fries to a large as a compensation for the wait.
There are only three drive through restaurants in Decatur, Hardee’s is very...
