My fiancée and I went here for the first time today. We got the deluxe pork tenderloin sandwich, Italian beef, garlic parm tornado potatoes, and jalapeno poppers. The tenderloin sandwich was good. It wasn't the best I've had but it was good. The veggies on it were fresh. The Italian beef wasn't an Italian beef. It's more of a pot roast sandwich with sliced pepperoncini. Although we did not eat there because it was too hot outside, the bread needed to be toasted as it was a little soggy. The tornado potatoes were fire. We got cheese on them but would probably ask for cheese on the side next time. The potatoes weren't that crispy but I wasn't expecting them to be with the cheese. The cheese is not your typical melted yellow cheese. It is delicious. The jalapeno poppers were good but you can't really taste the tropical habanero sauce with the bite of jalapeno popper. One of the things I hate about jalapeno poppers is when you take a bite and the whole jalapeno slides out. The Tornado Truck's poppers do not have this problem. Everything except the tornado potatoes needed more seasoning. It all tasted good just not outstanding. Thank goodness the line wasn't too long but I've seen it at times and to me it would not be worth it to wait in the heat when the...
Read moreThe employees are super friendly. Love the light covered seating area. We ordered 2 Italian Beefs(cheese costs extra), funnel fries and 2 lemon shakeups. The total came up to $52. That's pricey in my opinion. I did NOT like the Italian beef sandwich at all. It was like a roast from the crock pot. Way too much of a beefy taste and the bread was soaking wet without even using the au jus. The lemon shake up was really good and the funnel fries were too. They reminded me of New Orleans beignets. Definitely wouldn't order the Italian beef again though. Wish they had some Philly...
