Thirsty's Speakeasy & Grille — Restaurant in Decatur

It was my very first time going there, just to get out and wind down. The atmosphere was sub-par, not all of that. The food was GREAT, however, the bartender w/the blonde hair could stand to use better service when it comes to the way she handles customers in priority. I ordered waffle fries with cheese and taco meat on it (it was very good!) with a glass of moscato to be brought w/ my meal. My food was brought to me, and I started eating, but waiting on my wine. I was still halfway through my meal,& yet no wine. She was serving other customers who came AFTER me, & continue to serve, w/o serving me. The bartender did knowledge me a bit later, but it was too late, because I was almost done w/my meal. I then informed her I no longer wanted the wine,& to close me out. Food was absolutely incredible tasting!!! It was my 1st time there and I loved it!! This needs exposure because there weren't many people there and with the way I seen it.....it should've been packed. Food was great. Drinks were cold and tasty and the service was like being back in my old neighborhood at my friend's house waiting on they mama to cook dinner!!! In other words....it felt like home. The service couldn't have been better. If you haven't yet tried this then get on in there because you won't be disappointed!! And if u have,then give this place a shout..WOOT WOOT THIRSTY'S SPEAKEASY...

The bartender, Bre, is great! The cook/chef Chris takes pride in his food. All food was prepared professionally and with great appeal. Food was awesome!!! The Taco Salad was like a truck load of awesomeness!!! The Grilled Chicken sandwich, Meyer Lansky is to die for! Wings were very meaty and Wonderful sauces. Jill the hostess is the mostest !!!
