The Atmosphere --

Arashi is Japanese restaurant. Located alone Marine Drive makes it easy to find, but the size of the restaurant is a bit small. Although small, there is a lot of character and charm to it. The decor definitely screams Japanese with so many anime characters and action figures located throughout the place. They are never done renovating or adding new things as I always find something new that they change. They have a strict no farting inside rule so farters beware...

The food --

I've gone to Arashi over 10 times now and have never be dissatisfied with their quality of food. I usually order the chicken karage set, but I have tried a variety of their menu. The flavors they dish out is quite good and the presentation is practically flawless. Although I don't like that the beverages are self-serve, not because I'm lazy, but rather for health reasons.

Overall, I think arashi is a great restaurant and its great tasting food keep me coming back for more. I highly recommend this as a family restaurant because with all the anime and action figures on the wall, the kids will be quite...

Wasn’t welcoming once we entered the restaurant. Servers were giving distasteful looks and didn’t greet us. Looked like they didn’t enjoy their job and was very rude to my wife for no reason. The server that gave us our food was also the cashier and she had the worst customer service. Don’t work at a place that deals with customer service if you can’t give out decent customer service. Additionally, there was no ice in the cooler for ice and the ice scooper had some insects on it, which prompted us to not drink anything yet we were charged for it. The sanitation within this establishment had us questioning the cleanliness within the kitchen area as well. We lost our appetite and decided to leave right away because the overall experience had us not wanting to ever come back. This experience made me not want to go to any Arashi restaurant anymore. 3rd time here? I don't remember because service is HORRIBLE the first 2 time I thought it changed but guess not; I'd give a 0 star but not sure Google will show it as not rated if I don't give them a star. They got table side digital ordering which is great but they should change the staff too especially since they aren't that busy for them to be that inattentive and rude. Sushi is poorly rolled, it breaks as soon as you pick it up with a chopsticks so might as well your hands. Got a rice bowl with over-medium egg but got over hard instead. Rice was drowned in the sauce too so if you do get a rice bowl ask for the sauce on the side. If you want Japanese don't come here, go Sakura Kitchen or elsewhere, especially for the price. It's...
