Atlas Kebab and Grill — Restaurant in Dedham

Was coming around this neck of the woods for some home improvement shopping and needed a place to break my fast.

Boy did this place knock my socks off.

I ordered just the beef kebab plate… at first. The ingredients were so fresh, and nicely prepared greens were crunchy - hummus was smooth but dense, beef was juicy but with a nice char, rice had good fluff and flavor but complemented the rest.

It was so good that I wanted to try other things to see if it was a fluke. So I ordered the lamb chops. The chef showed me his marinaded lamb chops which were gorgeous and then grilled to perfection.

The chef was nice enough to have me try baba ghanoush and harissa while I was waiting for the plates.

Just really friendly down to earth counter order Mediterranean food and service. You can see all the food preparation happening also, which is a bonus.

I’ll be frequenting here more often. You ought to check it out too!

This place is amazing!! I’m writing this review from their parking lot that’s how good of an experience and meal I just had. I got two chicken kebab platters for me and my boyfriend, it came with two chicken kebabs, rice, grilled veggies, pita bread & a side salad as well as hummus and garlic sauce (the sauce was so fresh and flavorful but not overpowering with the garlic taste). Everything was extremely seasoned, the chicken was juicy & had a good char from the grill which I loved, the grilled veggies were so well seasoned and cooked. The service was also amazing, the man answered was very kind and answered all of my questions and made sure I was well taken care of, it was just him working & he made such a good impression & made even better food!! Never tried shawarma before, I usually eat halal and other mediterraean food. I called for a chicken and lamb gyro combo and told them I don’t really know what I’m ordering but make it with love. I promise you it’s the best shawarma around Boston. When I arrived, they were very friendly and the guy even gave me free sample of food to try. He asked me to call back and let him know how I liked it. AMAZING is all I can say. You will never eat shawarma from any other spot after this. The meat has so much authentic flavor and its fresh as can be. 10/10 for me. Spicy chicken and beef gyro combo with fries and avocado. Their sauce/ garlic paste is top tier. Left a tip and will continue to tip every time....
