What a wonderful little place! From the moment you walk-in you know this is going to be a good experience, but in fact it was excellent! I ordered a delicious pannino with sun-dried tomatoes, basil pesto, and mozzarella; it was perfect! And then a three scoop amazing gelato, with a yummy wafer. All of this was served by a delightful young woman who made me feel right at home during my week-long business trip to Del Rio! The Biblical uplifting quotes that decorate the beautifully painted walls, and the photos of two young servicemen in uniform remind me that we still have courageous and faithful people in our country. Very good ice cream, the sweetest owner, and the cutest ambiance. I have gone a couple times and though it’s a little pricey the quality and flavor makes it worth it, however… this time around I went on a Friday afternoon when even the sign lit “open”, but the door was locked. I waited a couple minutes and when me and my friends were about to leave a girl unlocked the door and said we could come in, we asked if they were closed but she told us no she was just in the back on her phone. I can’t lie her outfit was adorable but she was dry to us and it felt like she took to us as a burden. She was the only worker there so while I can understand a slow day can be boring, work is work. New found treasure. I wish I'd known about this beautiful ice cream shop sooner than a year later. My son and family enjoyed this beautiful place, ice cream and service for the first time on the 19th of September, my son's bday. He loved the delicious surprise. We love gelato and learning we've been living 3 minutes away from such a wonderful place was shocking but was worth the wait. I returned the next day for a delicious panini with goat cheese. We'll continue to go back. I recommend everything below strawberry cheesecake gelato is the only option...
