I hate leaving negative reviews. We arrived this morning; 3 adults and a small child. We were never greeted when we came in and stood around as numerous employees walked by. I eventually flag a server down and ask if it would be okay to sit outside. After some grumbling by the server and the elderly server with blond hair (she had the worst attitude for being in the service industry). We sit outside and the server, a younger girl, super nice, let us know there would be a wait as they were busy. No problem! We aren’t in a hurry at all! As we wait almost an hour for our food which isn’t even ready to arrive, (which was fine we weren’t in a hurry; for others just a heads up the food takes a while) the weather changed where it was extremely windy to the point that leaves and dirt were flying around and ended up in our drinks. By this time, two parties of 4 left. There now are two available tables with no one waiting to be seated. I go inside to ask if we can move to an inside table as we have already ordered our food and the weather is bad. The elderly, miserable, server with the blond hair, says that we can’t sit inside as there are no tables and once we are outside we are outside! I said to her there are two open tables, she then says there are for the people waiting. Ummm there is now no one waiting except for the bus boy to clean the two tables. I tell her to cancel the whole order. She then back pedals and says “oh you’re with them”? Yes! I am with the only black person and bi racial child in the place. Were these two tables reserved, which I doubt, or was she trying to discourage us, to leave? She goes on to make excuses once she realizes I am with “them”. I called her out on her behavior (not making a scene). She then (isn’t our server keep that in mind) keeps coming back numerous times to “check” on us, to the point I had to ask her to please leave us alone. Our bill was $60 and I left the server a $40 as I can’t even imagine how awful it must be for her to work there.
I discourage those who go there to avoid the elderly waitress with the terrible attitude.
Maybe it’s time for her to enjoy her golden years and exit the service industry.
We will not be back. We will support other local mom and pop...

Welcomed in a Big Rig way by Bethany holding the door open for us was a real nice touch. Beth, as they call her was to be our server as well. Very impressed, I was already mind-writing this review.
Understand that the menu is a teasing collection of homespun favorites mixed with intriguing combinations. Bologna, that oft-forgotten sausage plays a big role in several recipes. Grilled bologna and eggs. Egg, cheese & bologna sandwiches. Bologna grilled cheese. Etc. You can get a good ol' PB&J sandwich, with grape jelly.
My Fav Fab One, also known as Beth, ordered the 4 Piece Fried Chicken Dinner. I had been considering a northern style pork cutlet sandwich. Or, a Philly Steak Hoagie and a cup of chili. Chili is awesome on a cool November day. Lots of tongue tingling choices, so many wonderful choices. But, when the 'other' Beth stepped in to take our orders, I was already imagining some Big Rig pigging out on some fine fried chicken!
THE BEST fried chicken either one of us has EVER had! Sweet. Juicy through and through. Lip smacking, finger licking damn good! We were getting a lot of smiles per gallon on this poultry-leum! Ohhhhhhhhhh man!
Cornbread. The cornbread raised the bar to a level that will never be matched. Think 'cornbread cake'! Moist. Sweet. Moist. Sweet. Heaven to eat. Hands down the bestest cornbread ever.
By the time we put our forks down, we were in La La Land. The food. La WOW! The service. La Wow! The whole experience. Yep. La Wow!
I could literally eat every meal, breakfast, lunch and dinner at this place. They are open 24/7 after all. It would be a real 'Weigh Station' expectation.
Tell them John, and my...
