If you enjoy being yelled at by your server come here! I decided to set up a group dinner here under the impression that we would still have the wonderful service and food that the tavern was known for. I was completely and utterly wrong. We called a day ahead to make sure they would be comfortable hosting a party of 15. They were more than willing to have us and did not inform us of any reason they would not be able to have us.

When we arrived there at 7:30pm was only one other party there of two people. They informed us that our table could not be seated together and we would have to be separated. After being told we would block service they informed us that WE could move the tables together ourselves. When we started that we wanted to be seated together like we had mentioned in the three phone conversations we had with the restaurant, the host was not impressed. We said if they were unable to seat us together we could go to another restaurant and she said “that would be totally acceptable”. The bartender was not only unable to deliver more than one drink at a time, but also was rude to us when we wanted to order another. While dropping off our drinks he would roll his eyes just like a toddler throwing a fit. Our party was uncomfortable to ask for more drinks due to the faces he would make and the actions he was doing. We had no refills on our waters and some individuals didn’t even receive a water. To end the evening off our waitress decided to yell to get our attention and stated she would only say this once in regards to checking out our tickets. Also that she would not repeat herself more than once.

The bottom line is that THIS IS NOT THE OLD TAVERN 180, the service is horrible, the atmosphere sucks, and because of this no matter how good the food was none of us will ever be...

We decided to try Jack Rose Social Club for the first time on Monday, September 30th for a friend's going away dinner. My husband and I arrived 30 minutes before the reservation, so we decided to sit at the bar for a drink. While we were sitting at the bar, the bartender was really cold and unpleasant. When it was time for us to go to our table for our reservation, the bartender informed us that he would also be our server. While at the table, the service was awful. This guy was pretty rude and provided super slow service (which I could have looked past, had he not been so rude). When it came time to pay, I laid a $100 bill on our $80 tab that he dropped off at the table. When he came to pick up the money, he never asked if we needed change, so I had assumed he would bring the change back. He never did. He ran our friend's credit cards for their tabs, and never came back to our table. With good service, I would have no issue tipping $20 on an $80 ticket. However, I do not feel like this guy earned a $20 tip that he just decided to take without asking. I am not one to cause a scene, so we decided to just let it be and leave. After we left, my friends told me that they were super uncomfortable as well, because the smallest tip option on the credit card machine was 22% and he was standing over their shoulders rushing them. They panicked and tipped 22% without being able to locate the "custom tip" button. We were never able to catch the bartenders name, as he wasn't wearing a name tag and never told us his name. The cashiers name on the receipt just said "PM Bar." I do know the manager on duty was Kara, as they had that hanging on the wall. Unfortunately, on top of really awful service, the food wasn't great either. I don't think we will...

This was either the 5th or 6th time visiting this restaurant but will not be going back again. 1st couple of times were great. 1st brunch experience was great but the last 2 times for brunch have been terrible. Food isn't bad but the service is absolutely horrible. The restaurant advertises house juice, to me that means made fresh but it's not it just cans of juice opened up. This last visit the wait staff seemed completely put out that they actually had to work and wait on customers. The bartender was sitting at the bar cutting lemons and limes and texting on her phone when we sat down at the bar. She finally got up and went around the bar to ask us if we wanted something to drink, order a beer and the unlimited mimosas. She didn't ask if we planned on eating we had to ask for menus and to place an order. After she gave us our drinks and put the order in she disappeared for quite some time. When she would show backup at the bar and we ordered another drink she wod disappear again, this was how it went the whole time, finally I think she got tired of having to come back that she just gave me a big wine glass filled with champagne and juice so she wouldn't have to be bothered again. After that we just got our bill and paid and there wasn't a single employee in sight to say goodbye to and to thank us for coming or anything. It's really a shame cause the restaurant itself looks nice and upscale and the food is good but the service just ruins wanting...

Below expectations. First visit for my wife and I on New Year's Eve. Having made reservations,we were told on check in that we needed to be done within an hour and fifteen minutes. Odd and slightly off putting but not a huge deal given the holiday. iPad menus are neat and allow you see items before you order. Waited 15+ minutes before being acknowledged. Waters arrived shortly thereafter and first drinks took another 10 minutes. Started with the Wagyu sliders. I ordered the fish and chips and wife ordered the fillet. After waiting another 25 minutes, our server informed us, without apology, that they were out of fillets. Her alternate order was a pork chop as she didn't like the two other cuts. Appetizer arrived 3 minutes before the entrees. Food was otherwise good and flavorful but not memorable. Wife enjoyed the lemon lime martini with dry ice and I enjoyed one of four beers on tap. For the price and service level desired, I'd prefer to go to Morrie's. Update 2/20/2020: Returned for dinner with my boss who was aware of of the above but wanted to try it. Restaurant was not overly busy on a Thursday evening. Ordered two Busch's lights, auhi tuna app and two salads (out of salmon). Auhi tuna never came. Salads took 50 minutes and our server asked us if we got the app when delivering the salads. It finally came after we finished the salads, which were alright, not bad not great. Recommendation is the same but the stars go down to 2/5, instead of the former 3/5.

I was able to take part in the Tequila dinner on the evening of May 1. The full 7 course meal with different tasteings for each course. The Chef Mike, knocked it out of the park with the food, and the pairings with each Tequila. The local experts were there to give a brief explanation and history of each tasting, and how it pairs with each course, each one was a match made in culinary heaven. Plus they had bottles to sell if you wanted to at the end. The wait staff was on their game, coursed were set in perfect time to the tastings, plates were cleared after every course. This happens only with good trained staff. Our personal waitress even went above and got us our questions answered regarding ingredients, and everything else we asked. It was a great time and, I hope that some of thr food will make it on to the permanent menu. See pictures for the menu and each dish, but I know I can't wait to do the next tasting, and it will be wine. All in all it was GREAT FOOD, GREAT DRINKS, and very educational for a Tequila novice such as myself. Course 1: Chimichurri dip w\fried plantain chips Course 2: Slow cooked barbacoa soup Course 3: Roasted corn with cherry tomatoes, black beans and avocado lime dressing (3rd place) Course 4: fresh ahi tuna cerviche with corn chips (1st Place) Course 5: skirt steak empanadas Course 6: Chicken mole w\cilantro lime rice. (2nd place) Course 7: tres Leche topped with berries(BEST OF SHOW)

Wow. Had an absolutely perfect birthday dinner tonight with two friends. First time visiting and happened to come during happy hour. The apps we had wanted to try were on the list for $3 off. Service was outstanding, our friends drinking soda and water never got below half a glass before a new glass was whisked in its place. Great recommendations from the server as well. My wagyu hanging tenderloin market price was $45 today but I had actually expected to pay more. The level of tenderness and flavors was just outstanding. Best steak I have had in years! Was cooked to a true medium rare as requested. Very much enjoyed the jalapeño bacon brussels sprouts as well. Lightly charred with what I think was some of the bacon fat drizzled on top that came together quite well. Had a bite of my wife's parmesan crusted chicken that was top notch as well. Place was very stylish and comfortable, wall of bottles on the bar was very impressive as well. If you have a guest that wanted a certain top shelf liquor they wouldn't be left wanting. A very high quality restaurant with some more premium options available but surprisingly some of their signature cocktails were 3-5 dollars less than I would expect to pay downtown so there is a balance. My blood orange margarita was very tasty. I will definitely be back.
