Titans Tavern — Restaurant in Delapre Township

It was our 29th wedding anniversary today. I asked my wife where she would like to eat? She wanted to stay local, so we tried Titan Tavern. I order a drink and a water, there was more alcohol in the water I think. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger 15$ for a 1/4# dried, burnt burger that had no flavor. Fries were extra and average. My bride orderd fried pickles and a patty melt. The fried pickles were great. Never got to taste the patty melt. A staff member decided to wipe the condensation off of the vent above other coustomers. Needless to say.. they got wet! 🤷‍♂️ the waitress phone went off while we were ordering. The waitress never came to check on how our food was until bringing the bill and finally noticed my wife didn’t get her patty melt. My wife was upset and had me handle the bill. Not one apology was given. Not a single one! By the looks of other posts the experience looked to be great. We were one of the unlucky ones. I am not one to complain, no business is perfect, restaurant lessons.. keep the menu simple, be able to rock every option, never run out of food, service needs to be phenomenal! My wife and I decided to try out Titans Tavern last night and it was delicious! Our server Lindsey brought alot of spunk and energy when she came up to greet us at our table which added to our positive experience. She recommended many good options from the menu but said one of the most popular choices was the philly so I decided to go with that, it was one of the best I've ever had! The steak was perfectly cooked and tender, the cheese had a rich cheddar taste, and the grilled peppers and onions were on point! The bread was also perfect, as it was perfectly soft and held together to keep all these delicious ingredients together as I ate. It was so good I ordered an extra to bring home! My wife went with the chicken nachos that did not lack at all on the tasty toppings. The chicken was tender and not chewey or shredded like many places make them nowadays. This has to have been one of the worst dining experiences of my life. Ten of us sat down at around 730 for dinner. It must be noted that they were not all that busy. After ordering and waiting for what seemed for ever the waitress brought out on complete meal and two missing fries(they were t done yet). By the time the first couple people were done eating their sandwich still no fries but two more meal arrived. After another ten minutes one more meal arrived. Then later another. Still no fries. By the time the last person got their meal everyone else was done and still no fries for first order delivered. Most of the food was good, but the only thing I can assume is the cooks could only cook one meal at a time. So in summary there are ten of us who will never be back.
