Went in at lunch time on 9-17-2025. Ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and chips. Total was $14.02. Handed the cashier a twenty dollar bill, change was $5.98 I asked if I could just use two pennies from the penny tray. The little Hispanic girl proceeded to tell me that it would mess up the till. I asked how would it mess up the till? I said if I give you the two Pennie’s then you give me back $6. Little girl asked how does that work in a snotty tone. I replied in a not so nice way as the little girl was being rude and said it’s common math ninety-eight cents to two cents equals one dollar. Then the little girl began to argue that it would mess up the till because she already entered the change. I said whatever it would not mess it up to which she replied, how would you know again in a snarky voice. I again said it’s common math but whatever. Little girl then said whatever is right. I said there’s no reason for you to be disrespectful because I’m right and you’re wrong. She said I’m not wrong though and those Pennie’s aren’t for you to use, I said what are they then, there was about 11-12 Pennie’s in the tray. The little girl said those are for tips. I said, tips it doesn’t say they are for tips. Little girl then proceeded to say that I can’t use them very snotty. I told her again you know you really shouldn’t argue with customers when you’re in the wrong and also shouldn’t be disrespectful. Little girl said I’m not being disrespectful, did I cuss you out or swear at you. I said you don’t have to use profanity to be tides and disrespectful. In all my years of going to Subway I have never been treated this way. If I’m wrong I’ll own it and even apologize for my mistake. This little girl needs a lesson in math and manners too. I would like the owner to reach...
Read moreDuffy and Colts were the two workers making my food at 8PM tonight. I got my usual, The Subway Melt, which includes Ham, Turkey, and Beef with Bacon and then Toasting the whole sandwich. Duffy gave me the meats then decided to move on before putting the bacon on or toasting my sandwich. It was also cut in half the long way so the bun was split apart which took him 2 minutes alone to do. Then when Colts was in charge of finishing my sandwich I asked him to toast my sandwich since it still wasn't cooked, but Duffy talked over from his spot saying specifically "We toast it after the vegetables are on". I let it go. Once I had my sauces and pickles on my sandwich they then toasted it, BUT they decided to take it off the film and put it in a brown paper bag on top of each other and toasted it that way. After my sandwich was done I then watched the duo make the rest of my family's sandwiches, which they proceeded to do correctly. No paper bag. No cutting their buns and splitting them. Perfectly fine. All while Duffy seemingly was training Colts how to do his job "correctly". I still ate my sandwich because I'm not going to be wasting money in this economy. I am...
Read moreA Sub-lime Experience!
This Subway in Tea truly rose to the occasion — and Michelle was the breadwinner of the whole experience! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel like I was the hero (sandwich), not just a customer.
Michelle didn’t just meat expectations — she toasted them. Her energy was stacked higher than a footlong, and her attention to detail? Un-bread-lievable. She even helped me roll with a new flavor combo that totally lettuce to a new favorite — who knew banana peppers and garlic aioli were a match made in sub heaven?
The store was crustworthy and clean, the ingredients were fresh to the max, and the whole vibe was just deli-cious. Honestly, if all Subways were like this, I’d be loafing around one every day.
Michelle deserves a raise, a high five, and a footlong of appreciation. If you’re in Tea and need a bite, sub-scribe to this location immediately. It’s bready to impress.
Ignore reviews from people like Cassandra, Ruth, and Vickie, bad customers will get bad service 🤣 Treat these staff with respect and you’ll have the best sub...
