Golden City Restaurant — Restaurant in Delaware

There's bad customer service here. Cashier was so rude and unaccomodating. I drove by and decided to pick up a homemade Iced Tea with intentions of trying the food later if my drink was good. As usual I asked for "A homemade Iced Tea with no hole please" and handed the cashier my money. (A lot of Chinese places will automatically and without asking put a hole in the lid of the Iced Tea containers for folks to put a straw. SOME places will even cut a hole into the tops prior to putting the iced teas in the fridge but will replace it if asked.) With a stand offish attitude the cashier tells me all of the Iced Teas already have holes in them! I then tell him that most places just replace the top but if that's an issue I can just take my money back. And with that he returns my money. Considering that there are SO many restaurants struggling during this time, I would have thought that they would be especially friendly, courteous and welcoming to their customers. But that is clearly NOT the case here and I wont be bothering...

This restaurant could be the best in this area. The food could be Good if they give you what you ask for. I tried them 3 times. First order Fried wings and fries perfectly AMAZING, now I’m chasing it. Ordered again I specifically said not hard or double fried 😡the Worse! Called back and expressed how I felt the older lady says bring back…really, too far screw the gas I’m wasting. Today 1/5/22 ordered shrimp and beef with garlic sauce. Fixing plates I have shrimp and scallops…now I’m furious. I call them…older lady says bring back. I take back she just added the beef over what I already had. I am pissed screw Covid, screw allergies to the scallops. I’m done! My household orders from them at least twice a month. When I showed them this….they’re done. Horrible place of business and RUDE….no apologies., bad customer service and that’s the field I train staff. Older women need to come...

By far one of the worst Chinese places I have been to. The owners or the people that work there are very rude and do not have manners. I ordered a large shrimp Lo mein. When I opened the box it was visible that the lo mein was old .The lo mein was so dry and hard. The shrimps were stale. They also did not provide any utensils nor any sauce. I took the dish back to show them .Their behavior was out of this world. The man that opened the box claimed I had eaten the whole dish ( I had left little of the lo mein on the plate at home). The lady at the register told me to go home and bring back the other half of the lo mein when they close in 10 minutes .As I am walking out the man tells me to put " some sauce" on the lo mein and eat it .Talk about worst customer service .My family and I will NEVER order from this place again .They don't even...
