On The Rocks Bar — Restaurant in Delaware

This place is off the CHAIN!!! Everyone is wonderful and friendly. They have Karoake and now every tuesday night they have "open mic". That's where anyone can get on the mic and read poetry, sing a song or anything else that they would like to do. I play guitar & sing. I love this place! I bring as many people with me as I can and we all have fun. There is a chinese restaurant and a pizza shop next door to the bar and you are allowed to bring food in! I've been going there for over a year now and actually was visiting from north Jersey because I had so much fun at OTR. Now I live within a few miles and it's now "my place"... Especially Tuesday nights! It's a great place to hang out. As a matter of fact, I'm on my way there tonight to sing karaoke. I was looking up the address to give to a family member that's going to meet me there and I saw this comment section. If you like to have fun, great prices, lots of smiles and they will clap for you, even if you sing horribly! You will even get high fives!! How can you not love a place like that. Ok, I met Jen C, one of the bartenders, she introduced me to her husband who worked on my laptop for free and refused to take any money!! They invited me to their home for Sunday dinner. I'm six foot, 320 lbs of black man. I think people that invite me to dinner are really cool. The owner is off the chain as well and really cares about her customers as well as her staff. i used to work there at let me tell you, STAY AWAY FROM THIS BAR!!!! BOTH OWNERS ARE BAD ALCOHOLICS AND DRINK EXCESSIVLEY AND WHEN THEY DO THEY MAKE FUN OF THEIR OWN EMPLOYEES AND PATRONS! the one owner with the bald head who looks like an idiot also sells drugs out of the bar, i know this for a fact because i've seen it with my own eyes and held his drugs in my hand. the liquor bottles ar watered down and the beer is often outdated but they sell it anyways. please go to Hutchs Pub or Christiana Pub. both bars are excellent and never any problems at all.does the IRS know you pay your employees under the table like i was paid? i et they would love to go through your records. tax evasion is a horrible thing to do and they punish harshly and if i am correct you are the only registered owner on paper for that place and you would assume all responsibility for any wrongdoing, not your drug dealing partner, dave Thompson. you damn well know the $30,000 you got from him to "save" the bar came from drugs. you know full well he is a criminal and that he sells drugs out of the bar. i can attest to it because he's given me drugs to give to " customers"; and collect money from...

It's not your typical corporate appointed bar but, a nice, friendly place for locals, bikers, friends, pool players and karaoke lovers to get together to have fun and drink. Even though the bar closed at 1am and pretty sure the clock displayed the time at just before 11pm. Even when my husband asked the moment we walked in, what time the kitchen closed (12). When my husband went back less than 5 minutes later to ask for a menu, a different person told us the kitchen was closing in a minute. Then, when my husband went to put in our names for karaoke they were already shutting down. They did allow one of us to sing one song. Despite the minor setbacks, it was still a nice little bar.
