Milano Pizza — Restaurant in Delaware

I used to come here once in a while when the previous owners were around, they were pretty nice. What I didn't expect were these new owners to be even better! This Pizzeria has now become one of my favorite places to pick up food from. The new owners are of Hispanic descent, some have trouble taking orders, so please be patient with them. Overall they are very nice people.

First of all, the portions here are MASSIVE. I bought a large Calzone for $13 and that was enough to feed me and my other two coworkers, we barely finished it, it really was that huge. All their others options are equally as big. In a day and age where other restaurants serve you tiny portions for outrages prices, this place really is a haven.

Most things I've ordered from here have been delicious! From their pastas to their sandwiches, they are awesome! I was also impressed by the variety of things they cook. A chorizo Pizza? SERIOUSLY? I have not seen that anywhere since Papa Johns discontinued theirs, and this one blows it out of the water! I absolutely had to try it here and it was just as good as I expected it to be!

Their desserts are also amazing, particularly these; Cannoli, Rice Pudding, Tiramisu,...

Got a Bacon Burger, expected no cheese as it's a burger and not cheese burger. Selected no cheese options that were listed. Received a Cheeseburger with jalapeños. Okay, so we called and specified a Bacon Burger, No Cheese with Ketchup. We got a Bacon cheeseburger again. It being December 23rd we are preparing for Christmas and didn't hear any phone calls. We called back for just a refund, we gave an extra tip to the delivery driver for the hassle and the lady on the phone was extremely rude. Has an annoyed smart tone, saying that they called and that Burger came with cheese. Their menu is almost a complete copy of another store named Portofinos and if you don't select cheese at Portofinos, they don't put it on. Tried to just explain to the lady the misunderstanding and she double downed on the burger is actually a cheeseburger in a rude tone. Didn't feel like she was taking a work phone call more so she was getting smart with someone she went to school with. Will not be ordering again, thank you to the delivery driver who was super nice both...

So let me first state im a bit of a snobby pizza guy. I'm picky as I grown up with a Dad making his favorite Italian style pizza from scratch. Plus coming from Philly there are some amazing pizzas out they're not all but there are some. This pizza place RoCKs! Me and my gf were very impressed. To boot very unique tasty crust. Chispy crust where needs to be in soft and chewy the rest. We ordered there "special pie" and let me tell you what a great value and its was oh so good. Not light on the fresh toppings nor the cheese. I can tell you this is where most pizza place skimp out on. But NOT here. Just add acouple cold ones and you are in pizza heaven. I will continued to come back here as long as a pizza stays consistent "owner please read this" this is the key to any One in the food industry business.
