The store looks welcoming, but I always seem to have to ask for a product from the back because its not on the shelves, and half the time they don't have many things in stock at all. Most mornings they don't keep the hash browns and breakfast sandwiches out on the warmer so you have to find someone to make you one. There's only a few friendly Wawa employees that have been there for a while and know what they are doing, but most employee's are new faces almost every week and they don't know how to run the register correct, and they are mostly slow making the food in the deli. They can't seem to keep employees employed at this Wawa so they have new employees that don't know what to do or how to do it because they say they are not trained about everything and not trained long enough so most employees are slow. Plus out of four registers they only have one cashier ringing until the line wraps around the store then they will pull someone from the deli to go help ring. Rick is the GM of this Wawa (store #841) and I have heard more bad comments than I can remember from the few familiar faces that have been able to stay an employee at this store. I was was in the store getting some gas and things one day and an employee walked in the store and right in the middle of the shopping floor the GM Rick started yelling "How Damn hard is it to get to a few min early instead of a few mins late!? Do you get the fact that you and all your co workers are not anything special to Wawa, you guys need to realize that your all a dime a dozen. I can replace an employee in a snap as many times as I want...." the conversation went on with the GM Rick starting with foul language and still yelling loudly on the shopping floor in front of all the customers and the other employees to hear the Wawa employee's personal information, plus I'm sure that embarrassed the employee, it's disrespectful, and it should have been handled in private, that was terrible management skills by Rick but il stop there. The reason I remember that incident so well is because I called Human Recourses thru the Wawa 800 number. Of you ever catch the GM Rick running the register if you go through his line I guarantee you will sense he's trying to hide it but he's snoby, and acts like he's better then every one I guess he feels that way because he's a manager of a Wawa? I don't know what his deal is. I have been going to this Wawa since it opened, the store was at its best when the previous GM Rosemary ran the store then she was relocated to another store and they brought the current GM Rick to this Wawa and just from being a loyal daily patron to this store since it opened right down the road from my house I can see how the store went downhill big time in looks, constantly out of stock, us the customers get treated like veal or like we are nothing most of the time, slow customer service, there's no more in and out at this Wawa even if you just run in to pay for gas you end up spending dive mins inside the store, and many other things. There are always people outside asking for money, cars park in the middle of the parking lot. I always hated the parking lot and thought it wad dangerous from the way people park, andfrom people speeding in and...
Read moreI am truly disappointed at the service I received today. I've been a customer of this Wawa for a decade now, but only within the last 5 years have I been coming in daily on my way to or back from work. Sometimes I go in twice a day, the staff has always been great to me. With the exception of one new hire who seems to not like me. It may be due to racism or some other thing. But I am inclined to believe the former. You can accuse me of stealing for not having a receipt, I have no problem going back to the cash register to show you that I did indeed pay. What is not okay is taking my phone out of my hand without permission and walking away from me towards the cash register as if you had caught a thief. Who the hell does that? I too work in the service industry, I too get overwhelmed with customers at times. If I'm not sure if someone has paid, I can politely ask them if we can check again.
What's more baffling is that someone else had to apologize on your...
Read moreI dont often like to leave bad reviews and would much rather palce a possitive review, but I was so disappointed in my food I felt it necessary to say something. (Not that anyone would acknowledge the review) I ordered an Italian sub. I opened it when I got home and there was hardly any meat or cheese on the sandwich. If I had opened my window, a small breeze of wind would have blown it away!! The sandwich was all Lettuce and oregano. I would have to say it was the worst Italian sub I have had in my life. Such a disappointment. This is now my second negative experience at Wawa. Time to find another place that is quick and...
