Onion Jack's — Restaurant in Delaware

I've been coming to this place for a long time. Today I had the worst experience of my life. After being seated by the hostess My section belonged to a young lady by the name of Alyssa. When I was seated I was the only person in that section. The young lady Alyssa never acknowledged me there were three other empty tables after the hostess filled the three the tables with guess Alyssa took everyone's order from those three tables and she still never acknowledged the fact that I was sitting there as I got up to get ready to leave the hostess kindly asked me to please stay that she would take my order. I sat down waited for my food The hostess said to me that she asked Alyssa to please bring the food that I ordered and Alyssa refuse to bring the food. Alyssa and I never had any type of contact. She does not know me. I do not know her I'm assuming she just had a bad day I do not want to make this a black and white issue but I was the only black person in that section. The rest of the customers were white. It's very funny. How when I dine at this restaurant with my children in their uniforms who serves this country we get treated with the utmost respect. When you come in plain clothes you get treated horribly. I would like to thank Alyssa for ruining my day where I drove 3 hours just to get this sandwich thank you to the manager who stepped up and came and approached me and apologized. And also thank you to the hostess that came to me and apologized for something she had nothing to do with. I am going to continue dining at this establishment because the food is really good, but I hope to never see...

Ordered NY strip steak, Prime Rib, Thai shrimp app and crabcake. Let's start with the good. The strip steak was cooked excellent and delicious. The Thai shrimp app is also amazing. Nice heat and flavor. The crabcakes are very meaty! The best l've ever had anywhere but was charged $20 for 1. The reeses dessert was okay but not as good as the price.

The bad....The prime rib was very fatty and priced too high for the quality. It's gross..do yourself a favor and never order it. We ordered this on 3 separate occasions hoping to get a good cut. Even expressing our concerns about the fattiness of it the time before so we could get a good cut but they STILL could not get us a good cut. Just a fatty one. (Had to send it back) They must order a cheap cut of prime rib from whoever they get it from and then they in turn overcharge the customer for it... so long story short everything is great including service just stay away from the prime rib. I wish I could give this less than one star, not only was the staff disrespectful and did not wait on our table at all but my drink was covered in hand lotion, (Jergens Original) and it smelled like urine. They refused to check the drink or take it off the check. The manager rolled her eyes at me and dismissed my complaints completely and I had to pay for a drink that I did not even touch beyond pulling it to my face and getting those terrible odors in my nose. Our server visited us once, to get our initial drink order and to give us the drink and get our appetizer order. She was completely ignoring us.
