I have been waiting more than 10 days for a return call from Wawa Corporate to discuss a fuel spill at store #857 Rt.13 in New Castle, Delaware.
On that day I immediately requested the manager come to pump 18, I explained the shutoff did not engage, several gallons of fuel spilled and that he should put eyes on the situation. I was told he was unavailable and we never had any conversation nor did he or anyone assist me at the spill, address my concerns, provide me with an incident# or a copy of the incident report. I was told by a Wawa employee I would be contacted by the corporate and that has not happened to date. I was also informed I was at fault for the spill (not the defective pump) and that signs were posted to never leave the pump, I didn't see any signs on pump 18 or 17. My concerns are long term effects to the exposure to the fuel in and on my truck and paying for fuel I did not receive, paying to have my truck cleaned to get the fuel out of the rugs and above all others the fact the I would even have to type this message in hopes of a return call from Wawa. Read moreToday was the WORST experience I have EVER had at a Wawa! This is where my family and I have been going regularly (at least 4 times/week) for over a year, but after dealing with the girl behind the food counter tonight, I have no interest in ever going back. She went out of her way to argue with me and be downright rude by talking over me when I was trying to explain an issue with their ordering system. I even offered to show her the issue on the screen but she refused to listen to me at all - She just kept talking over me and arguing.
Well, from now on, I will gladly drive an extra 10 minutes out of my way to avoid another incident with someone so untrained in Customer Service.
By the way, I have generally not had any issues with this store in the past. Most of the employees have been pleasant (aside from an occasional employee that is clearly unhappy with his/her job), but that never impacted my overall decision on whether to shop there.
If Wawa hired just 10% of its employees that acted like her, they surely wouldn't be the powerhouse company...
Read moreA little disappointed with my visit today. Usually we stop at this Wawa rather than the other one close by because it's been normally better. Today we stopped to grab some quick breakfast and unfortunately as per the ordering menu they may have been out of pretty much everything. Under bagel sandwiches there were no bagel sandwiches, simply bagels with cream cheese. The normal burritos on offer were not available. We ended up ordering two orders of the breakfast bowl, with cream chipped beef. Unfortunately they barely had enough cream chip beef to do one order, so the other order ended up with sausage gravy. Sadly, they don't know how to properly serve cream chip beef over biscuit. They put the gravy, or the cream chip beef in the bowl first, with the bread on top of it. That is not how you properly serve cream chip beef. We will stop by again in the future, and I hope they iron out whatever bugs they had today. This was definitely not a...
