No clue what happened over the past few years. Lived in this area for many decades and have seen the staff changes throughout my time here. It wasn’t until more recently that it’s been on the decline in a pretty bad way. They swap people out often, and when you see a new worker- they look miserable. There’s a bigger guy with dreads who I think is a supervisor who is clearly the one setting the tone in the store. If I were a peer, I’d see him working and think it’s acceptable to be impolite and miserable-looking too since that’s how everyone else looks. Not good.
The world is in a rough spot, but it’s up to whoever the manager is at the time to step-up and control the environment. Yall need to fix the atmosphere a bit because I dread coming inside anymore which is terrible business. I’m a tolerable guy, so I know I’m not alone here. For instance, a couple weeks ago I tried to order the Thanksgiving Bowl, but the order screen showed that the Stuffing wasn't available. After asking 2 different employees, one finally said she would "unlock" it for me. She walked into the office, walked out, didn't say a word to me, and went back to talking with the other employees. At this point I left. The staff at this location don't pay attention to the customer, they are more worried about talking and clocking out on time. The stuffing was only one instance of Wawa not having the food that we wanted. Sometimes its cheesesteaks that they're out, sometimes its coffee. Or when it is dinner time and I buy a hot dog from wawa, I expect it to be fresh, not stale and old. This happens way too many times. Read moreEmployees are slow and don’t follow order requests from kiosk. I’ve arrived anywhere between 5:40 am and 5:45 am to pick up breakfast before going into work. There are no breakfast sandwiches prepared for easy grab and go by the register ( observed this on several occasions). So I go the kiosk to order a breakfast Burrito. It’s not there for selection. I asked for help and was told that it’s not there because another employee that prepared breakfast had not added it into the menu yet because they don’t serve breakfast before 6 am!
