LaDelle and Fourth Coffeehouse — Restaurant in Dell Rapids Township

I would give this place a higher rating, but it's come to my attention that the owners really don't like to hang around to run their own business. Numerous occasions I've seen them leave while the going was getting busy. I.E only saw one employee in the shop taking multiple drink orders on top of making drinks with owner standing there talking to customers with no intention of helping. He left a few minutes after the customer left. It's a nice place to be, don't get me wrong. But in a small town, I expected a tad bit more of that small town kindness everyone loves to rave about in Dell Rapids. But I will say that one employee really made it up for being left alone and taking all the orders after boss left. Thank you to that kind lady. Aaron and Amie are amazing people with the cutest little family. They make the best java chip frappucinos. I love love love their food and just had a cupcake today that's to die for. They always have smiles on their faces and really care for their customers. My friend called to see if they'd deliver a coffee to me because i was having a bad day. Not questions asked - They did it happily and even knew what I normally ordered. It's not a normal thing for them to deliver so it brought a tear to my eye. Love going there for the kids to play too. Was so pleased to find this in our sweet little town when we moved here two years ago. Great atmosphere. Very kid friendly with the cutest play area. Service is always great, yummy food, and delicious coffee. Great for meeting friends. We’ve gotten to know the couple that runs it over the years and they are just very hardworking sweet people.
