It really shouldnât be this goodâŚ.but it was, perhaps my expectations were low because itâs a chain. My âgo toâ in Delray Beach is El Camino, although the last two times, were very disappointing and Iâm not a fan of Roccoâs Tacoâs food. That said, I entered here with trepidation. I ordered the â4 Amigoâs which is basically one taco each, of their four offerings; Asada, Pastor, Birria & Chorizo, (all contain melted cheese) accompanied with signature salsa, birria sauce, diablo, verde, boss & pico de gallo.($15.50). In full disclosure, I was torn between ordering these and their delicious sounding Burrito. The 4 Amigoâs were so good, I went back up and ordered the Burrito with chicken tinga and it too was outstanding. The sauces were equally over the top and each contributed another balance of salty, spicy and savory to the mix. These were better than EC on their best day, especially the suppleness and taste of the soft, warm taco shell itself. Now, the atmosphere isnât conducive to implore you hang around, itâs much more on the level of Chipotle, which I feel is exactly their target audience. I will definitely be a returning customer. Btw, the place was spotless and they cook right in full view of the customer so it needs to be.. They have beer, wine and desert which I had no...
Read moreI was a little hesitant in trying this place out. Definitely felt like I was cheating on my regular taco spot. But I am so glad we did! Prices are a little higher than I'd like but I was very satisfied after my meal.
I came here on a Friday during lunch. It wasn't busy and I liked that I was in and out. They are still a new business so I'm glad I didn't have a long wait. And during our wait, they gave us free chips to munch on!
The service was also impeccable. The guy taking our order was passionate and kind! Really helped us narrow down what we wanted and even let us sample a chicken.
I tried the shrimp taco and the al pastor. A little disappointed they didn't offer flour tortilla for tacos but that's okay. They came in these cool black corn tortillas! Usually I like my shrimp taco kinda plain but I wanted to try it as is. If they perfected their menu, I'm sure they know what they're doing. I LOVED the shrimp taco. One of the best shrimp tacos I've ever had. The pork probably would've been better if I ate it right away but by the time I brought it home, it wasn't a great temperature. I was so hungry, I ate it and thought the flavoring was amazing. Will definitely be...
Read moreTaco tuesday serves up some of the most mouthwatering tacos I've had in Del RayThe fillings are bursting with flavor, the tortillas are fresh and warm, and the salsas pack a delightful punch. However, be prepared for a wait â sometimes a long one.
This seems to be becauseTaco Tuesday is currently a one-person operation. The same friendly face greets you, takes your order, answer the phone, get the money, get the online orders and more. While this adds a certain charm, it can significantly impact service speed. On my last visit, it took quite a while to get our food.
If you're short on time, taco tuesday might not be the best choice. But if you're craving delicious tacos and are willing to be patient, you won't be disappointed. Just be prepared to settle in and enjoy the atmosphere â maybe even bring a book or some friends to chat with.
Here's hoping taco Tuesday can find some additional staff soon. With a little more help, this hidden gem could become a true...
