Picnic Trendy should change their name to Picnic Tried and the Truth because that’s exactly what it is; The Truth. I’m a creature of habit so I typically get the same thing every time I go there but the little bites I’ve stolen from my friend’s plates have also been just as damn delicious. Sometimes when I’m feeling a little frisky I’ll change up my juice order (fresh squeezed, obviously) and every flavor is as good as my OG Mango. Let’s not forget about dessert; which I usually eat before my main course because life is too short and quite honestly, unpredictable. The Tres Leches is sooo good. I would say something but I’m gonna keep it PG for the little foodies using their parents iPad. Lastly, let’s not forget the authenticity of this experience. I typically go with my two super white friends and then this little Puerto Rican firecracker, and although I don’t speak Spanish, I instantly feel vibes shift as they begin to converse. The music, the conversations, the fairy lights, and of course the company can’t help but make me mamba my way to a table to enjoy the experience that is Picnic Trendy. I even do a little shoulder roll while I’m eating so you know it’s good. All in all, 5 stars, happy customer, and I will definitely keep coming...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars. I would Picnic Food Truck came to my community one evening My young son, had earned 20$ over the weekend. He said " Mom, I am going to buy my dinner tonight, because you're always cooking ". My son went to order his dinner His meal came to $20.05 The server at the truck expressed that my son could not get his dinner because he was .05 cents short At this time my son came home stating he couldn't get his dinner because he was .05 cents short. I then walked to the food truck. Explained the situation and they stated very specifically " we are not a charity, i don't care if he was .01 cent short, we will not give him his dinner. After hearing this I was a bit pertirbed I work full time & completely understand businesses &.how a business runs in order to stay operated. However, .05 or..01 cent would not make or brake a well structured business. Anytime, my community has this food truck back-.I will not be supporting their business!!!! And I hope anyone with any moral...
Read moreHands down the best choice for Mexican cuisine. The tacos are authentic, made with care and style--simplicity leads to excellence, hitting on the fundamentals. Great meat choices, and special add-ons (salsa, pico, spices, sauces). The pressed sandwiches, tostadas, and nachos are top notch as well. It's run with pride and integrity -- the owner / head chef seems simply to love serving folks and seeing their enjoyment. Before too long - he'll be running a dominating fleet of trucks (capturing this thrifty, efficient, edge competitor to any brick/mortar -- and climbing to the top) -- or running major kitchen here and about (or both). We go there at least once a week, often adding a second trip -- my finicky six year old will demand "picnic tacos!" and I yield because she eats every bite (something she'll never do with any other treats - even pizza).
So go and give this local...
