B & I Bar — Restaurant in Delta Charter Township

I have driven by the B&I for many years and had never stopped by. I looked up the food menu online and knew that I needed to stop by. The outside may look a bit rough, but the inside is very clean. The crowd was light, and the bartender was the waitresses as well. She was very quick to approach with a friendly smile. I knew that I was going to order the olive burger, and I was not disappointed. The food arrived at the perfect pace with some delicious fried pickle spears arriving first. I will definitely be coming back to try the pork rinds and pretzels with cheese. Came in after the storm yesterday. I just finished my first day working at meijer warehouse. I have no car and couldnt get a lyft or uber so i began the long walk home in the snow. Cold and wet i kinda stumbled into B&I and was surprised to see it full of diverse patrons.. After pleading with the bartender that I was not going to loiter and was trying to get a lyft i ordered a beer and prayed. The fish here is a wet batter, crispy not too thick. Bf treats me to B & I just for my fish. The serving size was large. Coleslaw well dressed this time. Lately it seems every other coleslaw is either dry or sopping wet. The whole place is typical small, nostalgic local bar. Dark. Kitschy been signs, long wood bar. I love this wood bar!
