Yixin Boba Tea — Restaurant in Deltona

Updated review: My family comes to this restaurant every weekend and are totally satisfied with the boba drinks we order. Saturday we went in the store and walked straight into an ongoing conflict with the owners and an employee who we could clearly guess had done something very wrong. The owner was not bashful to yell at this crying girl in front of 8 people in the store! His wife also having words. It was so live that they didn't even care to greet us when we came in. They stood in behind the cash register having a big ol argument. It was so awkward and I had 2nd hand embarrassment for the red faced crying girl. After a while they moved their argument into the kitchen (and sent someone out to help us) where it continued for a bit longer and louder, oh but wait they came back to the register to argue some more!! Wow it was 100% unprofessional behavior on the owners part and they should be ashamed! The tea is good tho, lol

I totally enjoyed the boba tea here! I got the oolong milk tea with tapioca pearls, and I think it's the best I've tasted. There was no chalky taste in the pearls, and the tea was slightly more potent than usual, which I thoroughly enjoyed. We also tried the brown sugar milk tea with crystal boba, which tasted similar to the oolong, but had a slightly nuttier, sweeter flavor. The crystal boba had the texture of jellies, but had a very subtle citrus taste. Would totally recommend it to someone who doesn't like the chewy texture of the tapioca pearls. We tasted the coconut milk tea with lychee jellies, and it was a perfect combo! The coconut tea wasn't too sweet or chalky, and it paired perfectly with the flavor of the jellies. If you haven't had lychee before, it sort of resembles the flavor of green grapes, but slightly more citrusy. The jellies were a little difficult to catch with the straw, however, so prepare for a struggle after the tea is all gone! All the teas were 75% sugar, except for the oolong, which was 50%. I’ve been coming to Yixin Boba Tea in Deltona since June 2022, and it’s truly one of the best boba spots I’ve ever had ever! Since that first sip, I was hooked I’ve tried almost everything on their menu, but I’m always drawn back to the brown sugar milk tea & mango smoothie with mango popping boba! I also really like the Strawberry milk tea, & Taro Milk Tea. The also once had a special Mango Tajin drink and it was awesome it was sweet and spicy! They recently introduced food options, & honestly, the quality is surprisingly good considering how cheap it is. The family who runs the shop is incredibly kind and personable they remember my name, & always offer thoughtful recommendations, & truly care about every visit.
