Kabob's Lebanese And Greek 16569 George Oneal Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70817 If I knew this Lebanese/Greek restaurant existed way sooner, then I would have probably gained 10 lbs of happiness in a good way. Did I finish all this food in one go? No, I did not; but I can claim that this place is worthy of coming back to in my books. Everything from the beginning to the end was spot on delicious! Here's the list of things I've ordered now: 1. Fried cheese - The best fried cheese I've ever had, in my own opinion. 2. Kabob Sampler for 2 (Meza) aka 2 for my belly. If you never had Greek food before and just wanted a sampler of everything, I would highly recommend this. This ranges from chicken, gyro, eggplant moussaka, and so much more. 3. Red Fish in Alfredo sauce. 4. Shrimp Scampi. 5. Kabob Hamburger Steak: Imagine a regular hamburger steak, BUT with extra flavor and love put into it. 6. Meat Stuffed Squash. 7. Lamb Shank!! #tonylameats #batonrougela #greekfood #kabobsbr #kabobs #lebanesefood

I highly recommend Kabob's. I was amazed at how well the building was renovated - very classy and great bones. The food excellent. The server was perfect. I was hyped this try Kabob's because I heard good things about the food. The gyros plate was fabulous with wonderful spices. Freshness is what came to mind. Loved the Lebanese tea. Will definitely get the tea again and again. I tried the grape leaves and wish I ordered them. Will order next time and maybe try the vegetarian version. Everyone always judges a Lebanese restaurant by their hummus. The hummus was smooth, spicy, and outplayed my expectations. Go to Kabob's even if you only want a great snack of hummus with pita. Can't wait to try other great tasting selections from Kabob's menu.

I’ve been here multiple times over the last few months and each visit has left a lasting impression on me. The employees are always so polite, professional and fun, the wait time is very short, and, best of all, the food is absolutely fantastic! The first time I ate there was my first time ever trying Greek or Lebanese food, so my expectations were low, but by the end, it quickly became one of my new favorite things to eat. I’ll definitely stop by again the next chance I get. It’s always worth the trip.

The place was empty after 3pm when I arrived. Person who took my order was very hospitable and friendly. My take on the food. It was not as authentic as I expected. The Lebanese iced tea tasted as though it was regular iced tea. No distinctive rose water floral flavor and strong lemon taste that I am used to.

The lamb/beef was really flavorful and tender, however, the tzatziki sauce tasted a quite bland along with the rice. No feta on the salad which if there were, I must have missed it. The chocolate mousse cake was average. I guess I am spoiled by other local Greek/Lebanese restaurants that offer dishes with more robust flavors. Overall, the workers were very nice and the reason I gave higher score than normal. I know people's taste buds are different so if anything try it out because the customer service...
