Tried for the 1st time this evening and was not disappointed!

We placed our order through door dash and the delivery was fast and arrived in good condition. More on that in a second.

We tried the family meal for 2, which came with the apple chicken and the chicken lo mein. It also came with 2 egg rolls, 2 dumplings, and 2 soups. If you like rice with your meal, you will have to order that separately. The meal was supposed to come with 2 egg drop soups but we received 2 hot and sour soups instead. Which was fine by me because it was delish! As was the rest of the meal. Servings were huge and probably enough to feed a family of 3 or 4.

My only issue is the door dash menu options they have. You can't order a lot of the items they have on their regular menu. For instance, I knew the family meal did not come with rice. But the only option they have on door dash for rice, is a chicken fried rice. You can't just order a side of plain rice or even an order of plain fried rice. I wanted to try the general tso chicken but that was not an option through the door dash menu. The only way you could order it was by selecting another family meal deal. Nor could you order a side of their soups except for the DragonBall one.

Needless to say, if they fix those issues and make their menu more concise, I would give them 5 stars! Would love to dine in and try more...

This place was once a beloved hidden gem. The food was always fresh, delicious, and the little ladies were the sweetest! Unfortunately, the last few times I have eaten here it was nearly inedible. This past Thursday was the final nail in the coffin, my kung pao chicken was floating in oil. That plate had more oil in it than Diddy’s house! My fried rice was pungently soured and obviously spoiled. My guest’s shrimp lo mein was cooked noodles with shrimp and all of the sauce poured in the bottom of the plate. My fountain drink had so much carbonated water in it I was barely able to taste the Starry. The AC was not on nor were any fans going or even the door propped open for air flow, during the hottest part of the day, which is nearly a sin in TX; especially, in mid July! We were both sweating and it felt like we were inside a sauna. I am truly broken hearted at what has become of this once crave worthy restaurant. I will say my guest did enjoy her spring rolls and my dragon ball...

Disappointing. My roommate and I were excited to try this place for the first time the other day after reading the glowing reviews. This is nothing on the staff at all, they were totally fine, this is all about the food taste and quality.

Crab Rangoon was very overcooked which sucks because it is my favorite part of any Chinese take-out. It is also a Chinese food staple, so if you get Crab Rangoon wrong, it is not a great set up for the rest of the meal. Speaking of, the Fried rice was very dry and free of any seasoning- this goes for the fried rice side that was plain, and the bbq pork fried rice meal, both dry and flavorless. The Pork was also super dry. It is hard for me to describe what was off about the beef lo mein, so I am just going to leave that there...

Maybe they were just having an off day? It was not busy at all when we picked up, so I don't know but we more than likely...

Don't let the shabby building fool you! This is some of the best Chinese food you'll ever eat. And I've traveled a lot my whole life. I nearly didn't pull into the parking lot when I saw the building, but me and my 3 buddies were all amazed at everything we ate! Highly suggest the steamed dumplings... because the sauce for them divine... and the Rangoons is a close second. Three other major winners are the Mongolian beef, kung po chicken, and the slow cooked pork belly! Slap your mama and give them a visit. Oh, and I would also comment that pretty much all the kitchen aromas mix into the dining room, so don't let the smell put you off when you first walk into the door either; much like the building it's deceiving! The young lady serving us was a delight, and the guys were hustling in the kitchen.
