WAVES at Pelham House Resort — Restaurant in Dennis

Waves is incredibly stylish, loud, popular, expensive, and frustrating.

The menu is painfully simple; sushi and pizza. (Plus really expensive tinned seafood) This would not be a problem except that our rainbow roll was practically tasteless with a tough nori.

Our short rib pizza was yummy but a little greasy. The crudité was beautiful but disappointing. The dipping sauces are in cute little jars that are too small to get the veggies into.

The service was very good but slow because they were busy.

Place gets great marks all around. The building itself is beautiful and is beautifully landscaped. Wonderful views of the ocean.

Food is more small plate feel. This is a great place to have a bunch of small plates and drinks. Enjoyed things like the sushi, poké bowl, flatbreads, and seafood tower. Cocktails were also curated well and fit the menu. Tasty and worth it! The stand out item being the PHR lobster sushi roll.

Stayed 3 nights for 4th of July week. We had two rooms which were spotless. Views from the hotel are beautiful as it is right in the beach. The pool gets crowded if you have small children- note that they have live entertainment poolside and are open to the public for drinks. Service was great. The only complaint I had was the ac in rooms tended to be quite loud and you can hear other guests from your room as you...
