If I could give a negative amount of stars I would! I have contacted corporate regarding my experience or lack thereof tonight at the Prudenville, MI location. Went through the drive-thru and ordered $43 worth or food for my family. Asked more than once before leaving the drive-thru if they were sure everything was there. I was assured yes and proceeded home. Got home and realized they had forgotten a 20 piece chicken mcnugget and a McChicken. Called to inform them and they told me to come back (opposite end of town mind you) to get them. They also asked if I wanted fresh ones or the ones sitting there that they had forgotten (duh!). I drove back with my receipt in hand. The manager (grey shirt) at the front immediately said "I shouldn't give you anything without having the entire order". I said "you didn't tell me that on the phone" and she proceeds to say "I'm not in the mood nor am I dealing with it right now. I'm the one who took your phone call I already know what's missing. You should've brought the entire meal back" and turned around to make a milk shakeshake without making anything right. Continued mumbling under her breath with her back to me. I told her she should've told me that on the phone that I lived on the other side of town and wasn't coming back again due to their mistake. She proceeded to again say "Like I said, I'm not dealing with you" and again turned her back. I was beyond mad and asked for her name so I could call corporate. I got a "go ahead I'm busy" then she walked away. Refused to give me her name and was beyond rude as a manager? Then as if it couldn't get ANY worse, another young girl comes up and said they'd been busy. I asked her if she was going to give me that mangers name (who is now in the back no where to be found) and she too proceeded to say no! Yet another staff member brought our missed food to us finally and I walked out and called corporate IMMEDIATELY! I will be following up. This is no way to treat anyone and I will...
Read moreThe crew is hit or miss on customer service, however, the audacity to stand there and tell me who I'm supposed to "give the code" to from the mobile app after knowing my mobile order I made didn't go through (I did not realize the location switched to the other McDonald's in the middle of my travels) when you guys don't even hardly ever take orders in the order they show up to the speakers is just beyond me. I literally prepare myself for it to happen every time, because it does or it takes forever for my order code to even be taken. This has happened on numerous occasions, and I have been chill about it until today when the lady said "Usually you give the code to them", and pointed to the front of the building when I tried to use payment via the app/code and get the points. Do you not realize stuff doesn't load that fast around these buildings. Kinda hard to have a different code pulled up on the spot, read off the order that had been placed, and also trying to cancel my mobile order that went to the other location! I understand giving helpful information, but I don't care WHO is supposed to get the code after all that. Maybe if ya just skipped over me again this visit, I would have had the time to do so. There's a select few of you guys who really are great people, and I wish I could remember the names right now, because you're the only reason there's even stars given for service.. You individuals are ☆☆☆☆☆. I'll update my review when I figure it...
Read moreWe visit this McDonald's location quite often, as they are located conveniently for us. We understand completely when mishaps occur, as everyone in our home as worked at restaurants and even fast food at one time or another.
However, when my mother used her debit card in the drive thru the other day, she was charged for a $20 gift card she did not order. They said they fixed it at the drive thru, but it overdrew her bank account anyway. She receives a fixed income, so it's hard - if not impossible - for her to come up with extra money when something like this happens.
Her bank has agreed to remove the overdraft charge, but the owner of this McDonald's location called my mother personally to tell her it's her own fault because she should have expected mistakes to occur when using her debit card at their drive thru. WHAT? What does that even mean? I imagine he's referring to the fact that her account didn't contain enough money to cover the $20 gift card she didn't ask for. I also imagine he's pretty annoyed that people who have less than $20 in their bank accounts would bother to patronize his McDonald's and then ask for a refund when McDonald's overdraws their banks accounts.
I'm really disappointed in this McDonald's. I've had great service there for years, and then this happens. The owner treated my mother like crap. We won't be going back. There's plenty of other...
