We arrived here about 4:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday. We heard so much about the place, we had to try it. Parking wasn't too bad, but apparently it can be tough as the sign on the door said to not park on the street and there was an overflow lot across the street. The atmosphere was warm and rustic on this cold day. Country music was playing on the stereo. The staff was amazing and attentive. I'm sure the drinks are great, but we just ordered water. I had the Boursin Burger and my partner had the Siracha Tenderloin. My burger was so delicious. It was charbroiled on a buttered fresh baked bun. They make their own garlic and herb cheese which was so good. And a refreshing pesto square accompanied it. Gourmet burger for sure. My partner said the tenderloin was spicy at first, which is his favorite, but calmed down as he went. The truffled parmesan fries, too die for. Especially with a little fault vinegar. We followed dinner with blueberry lemon cobbler ala mode. So good we didn't stop to take a picture until we were done. All the for $40. Will definitely come back. We came back again on Jan. 26th. Again, great food. Amazing ambience. I love the decor and lighting and took lots of pictures. This time we got the fried pickles, meatloaf and pot roast, finishing off with a brownie with chocolate chip ice cream. A little less impressed this time. Food was ho hum. The brownie was salty. All for $42. Not a big enough deterrent to not come back.

This was maybe our 9th visit? Tonight dinner for 4 around 6pm. Had to wait briefly for a table, no problem. Seated at a high top after about 10 minutes. Host or bartender brought us menus straight away. Said our server would be over shortly. She was over to take drinks orders and went ahead and ordered for the 7 year old, which we are thankful we did. The place was full so we expected a bit of a wait for our food. But it was a LONG wait. Again, thankful had ordered for the kid. He had his food and had eaten it all before we were served. Also a table of 6 that came in after us got their food before us. Our meals were fine. One had pot roast, one had brisket, one had salad with gyro meat. And child had cheeseburger and fries. In my opinion, the salad was the best dish. The brisket seemed a bit over cooked. The pot roast lacked flavor. Don't misread, the food was OK. Just missed the bullseye for us this time around. Except the brownie with ice-cream at the end! Tasty! 2 of us had plenty of leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Boyfriend had 2 drinks with tequila as they were on special. He liked the Ruby Paloma, not so much the Angry Margarita. Service was OK. Our server was pleasant. Checked on us a couple of times. Our total bill was $70, before tip. Not bad for a group of 4. We love the decor, the fact that it's locally owned, and have had great burgers, and a yummy poutine here. We will return to those on our next visit!

Wishing this was in my neighborhood. After numerous positive reviews we finally made it there. Parking may be difficult but luckily we arrive during a non busy time. Walked in and it felt like it just opened but there were a few occupied tables but we has our choice of tables. There is plenty of seating and the atmosphere is very pleasant. We were promptly greeted and the bartender took our drink order. My wife was extremely pleased with the drink menu and all the options. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and my wife ordered a Warm Bacon Salad. The sandwich was really good, although it should have been served with a side of the bbq sauce. The pork was hot and juicy. My wife really like the salad and especially the bacon dressing. We overheard the waiter talking to another table about the fresh Key Lime Pie for dessert. We have never had a really good KLP so we decided to try it. Definitely a good pie but it is pricey. Issues: I ordered a side of Tots with my sandwich and I got Parmesan Fries. They were good and hot but it was a misunderstanding. I hate sending food back so I did enjoy the fries. Will definitely return and take our foodies with us!

What an amazing place! We stopped in on a Saturday around 12:30 to a crowded house. The only seats available for two of us were at the bar. We were greeted with friendly faces and INCREDIBLE customer service. Monty was our server, but the other bartenders chipped in for drink refills, etc. We started out with fried pickles, then I ordered the warm bacon salad (minus the feta) and my son ordered the Sriracha tenderloin and fries. We split the fries with a side of brown gravy. Everything was absolutely superb. It was fresh and hot out of the kitchen, and even after finishing our meals, the remaining fries were cooler, but still delicious. The dipping sauce for the pickles was spicy and I assume has Sriracha, as was the tenderloin, obviously, but not so hot that it was overwhelming. There were just great mixes of flavors. This was my first visit, but I will be back. It was so FANTASTIC!!

We grabbed some takeout while in town for some activities with our puppies...the Mrs searched online for a "funky place" nearby and The Angry Goldfish popped up...we thought it sounded crazy enough to try. The sandwiches were amazing! She got a Chicken Sandwich that was a good portion and I ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich...tangy sauce and I put the spicy coleslaw on top that put it over the top! Parmesan Fries were tasty and the Bacon/Mac&Cheese was gooey goodness! Our third visit: Our third visit while in town for activities with the pups...Kira races in an event not too far away. Got the Goldfish Tenderloin on this trip with the Parmesan Fries...the Mrs got the Crispy Chicken Sandwich yet again and we split a Mac&Cheese. All excellent once again!! The sandwiches looked a little "done" but they were both actually spot on! Tender and juicy sandwiches!!

We were on the south side for another event and decided to try Angry Goldfish after reading other positive reviews. We arrived around 8pm on a Saturday and had no issues finding seats at the bar, so we sat and were promptly greeted by the friendly bartender. We ordered a couple of beverages, one being a blueberry mule as recommended by the bartender and an order of the angry (Sriracha spiced) goldfish. The mule was fantastic and the goldfish were absolutely with the $1 price tag. We weren't too hungry so we decided to share an entree and ordered the tenderloin upgrading the side to poutine. Our food came out on two plates perfectly split for us with two small sides of the awesome poutine. If we lived closer this would definitely be our favorite place to hang out. Great service, great food, great prices...we can't recommended this place enough.
