I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express that is just behind the storefronts that this restaurant sits in.
It appears that most of their business is either take out or delivery as I was the only person that actually ate in the restaurant while I was there.
They do have a large number of lunch specials but no dinner plates except for groups of two or more people. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken which was good, but the portion sizes were smaller than most Chinese Restaurants I have been in. I also ordered Fried Wontons but no sauces were included to dip the Wontons into.
Even if you eat inside you order at the counter and the person that took my order was friendly. The food came out quickly, in fact I got my food before 3 girls that had ordered take out ahead of me. I did get one refill on my water but after that no one came back to my table and I had to go up and get a to go box.
Overall the quality of the food was good even if the quantity of the food was not what comparable places serve, the service was spotty, and the overall value for the dollar was not that good. Overall I give it a average rating, nothing to write home about or to go out of...
Read moreEDIT: My last visit, we were given menus with "old" prices and ended up paying 25% more than we expected per menu price. At our next visit, several months later, we faced the same problem. They refused to adjust our tab to match price on the menu we were given. Feels like a scam. Significantly lowers my opinion of the place.
No fooling food. Reasonable prices. Low drama.
I got a menu that didn't have prices updated so my dinner ended up being 30% more than I expected. But even then, not unreasonable.
Waitress (manager) was very very busy. They do far more takeout than dine in, so its sometimes hard to tell what she's working on when the dining room is modestly populated. But we were in no hurry. We walked in and sat down. Far better than the 30 minute wait amid total bedlam we faced across the street.
There was absolutely nothing wrong with the food--and, in spite of how it may sound, that is a tremendous compliment.
The decor is workmanlike. Sufficient. Comfortable. Expensive wallpaper and high prices has little appeal for me.
We've been here before and were equally satisfied. Need to move this higher on...

I had not been there in awhile....used to b a good little restaurant...went in on a Tues about 9:30pm & ordered 3 dinners for carry-out. The service @ food were horrible.
I ordered 3 different dinners that all tasted the same! They were so heavily battered that I attempted to cut off the batter to get to the limited chx & fish inside. Thankfully, the beef was not battered, but it still had the very same seasonings. I realize it was late, but they were out of both soups also. They offered more egg rolls, but refused my request for crab Rangoon instead. Just as well, both were very dry & obviously had been sitting there awhile.
If you crave reasonably priced Chinese food that is above average, do yourself a favor &...
