McDonald's — Restaurant in Des Moines

It’s been more than 3 occasions where this location always messes up my orders. Especially when it is for my child. There are times where I can’t go order myself to go get the food. Every time I get my food delivered, MCDONALDS is always making the items incorrectly, wrong beverages, or when I order large fries is half full and sometimes it’s old and cold. Like tonight, I called that MCDONALD made the mistake on my daughters meal. All she can say is report it to DoorDash. DoorDash don’t make the food. MCDONALDS employees do and obviously none of you can’t do your job right. We don’t get our full refund for the mistake you make for what we pay for the food you make. Sylvia is the name I was given. Supposedly she’s the manager. She didn’t want to listen to the continuous mistakes they keep doing. I asked her how she going to resolve the solution from preventing it again. She got mad. So she tried to talk over me and refuse to answer the question. My daughter got the 2 cheeseburger meal. She didn’t want mustard or diced onions on it. And mcdonalds continued to put it on there. The large fries of course cold and old. And the manager Sylvia didn’t want to solve my child’s food so she can have her dinner. So instead I had to go spend more money on food elsewhere to feed my child. All because a selfish, ugly nasty person couldn’t make my child food right. And all I asked was to remake the sandwiches for my daughter. And yet, it went in one ear and out the other. Again I don’t get a full refund on the meal I pay for. Like you and everyone else, would like their food for what they pay for. I work hard for my money just like you. Your no different from me. Customer service needs to be a lot better than this. And it shouldn’t be any different when I come in and...

Now I would of give this McDonald's 5 stars instead of 4 stars even though someone stolen my work shoes in the lobby, and they know, I work right down the street from them, but not only that. A strange lady on of February 2nd 2022, connect to a lady in Ames Iowa in 2017.... When me and 2 more other ladles was temporarily staying on Kellogg St in the basement, and I was only working in Iowa at McDonald's on Duff ave in 2017, not asking for housing or public assistance, and wasn't going to pay high rent for something temporarily of the summertime in 2017....Anyways this lady work at McDonald's on Forest Ave. Connect to the lady that was homeless lying on public floors, in every shelter in Iowa with no remodeling of her own, or help from her own family. Connects to this disrespectful ugly mess up teeth lady at McDonald's on Forest Ave in Clive Iowa. While she's worrying about me in Chicago and doesn't even know me ... I am still blessed and comfortable to do whatever and still living better than these folks, who don't care about their family nasty crazy Schizophrenic selves. I am going to show a picture of the item I've brought so when people see this review they will know of this know homeless person as well connect to her family that was homeless too in 2017 on Ames, Iowa, down the street from McDonald's on Duff ave... And I drove back home in my paid off Toyota, I earn doing my middle...

I've been to this McDonald's several times as I went to the university right next door and I've never had an experience as bad as I witnessed tonight. My friend and I didn't feel like cooking so we decided to pop on over for a quick bite to eat. We ordered at the kiosk, selected dine in, and grabbed a tent for the food to be delivered to our table as prompted. When it came time for our food to be done it wasn't even brought to us as we selected. On top of that the employee acted angry when we didn't hear him to come grab our food. Come time to sit down to eat and our order was WRONG, one of our burgers was a complete mess it had the wrong patty size and was missing the cheese. We were hungry so just decided to eat and not bring it up. Our fries were soggy and cold within less than a minute of us getting them. We trashed them. We decided to give them another chance and ordered another burger hoping to get the right one. It was right but was thrown together with toppings falling out of the wrapper. We gave up and just walked home after that. Moral of the story, yes it's fast food but there weren't that many people or cars so the service and food could have been A LOT better. I won't be coming here again...
